About reading
1. Maugham said in his "Reading Experience": Reading should be a kind of enjoyment; when you pick up a book, it is a responsibility to it, skim, read the scriptures, and read it repeatedly, please be sure to complete it.
There is an original saying above: "You'd better read as your own interests. I don't even think you have to finish reading one and then read another. I like to read four or five books at the same time, because our mood changes every day, and even in a day, we don't eagerly want to read a book every hour. We have to adapt to this situation. Of course, I have taken the most suitable method for myself. Before starting work in the morning, I always read books on pediatrics or philosophy for a while, because Reading such books requires a clear mind and concentrated mind, which helps me work the day. After finishing my work, I feel very relaxed and no longer want to engage in nervous mental activities. At this time, I read history, essays, comments or biography; at night, I. In addition, I always have a collection of poems at hand, and at the head of my bed, there is a book that can be read from anywhere and wherever I can read. Unfortunately, such books are rare."
2. I have a deep understanding of this. I once read some of Marcel Proust's "Remembrance of the Years" and gave up. I was actually very uncomfortable with this stream of consciousness at the beginning. There were many long sentences. You may not get anything from beginning to end. When you finish reading a paragraph, you may forget the beginning, but you have to admit that it was written very carefully and had a good writing style, so I decided to read it intermittently because it was too long. This is a book that influenced many later writers.
3. Here we focus on a few foreign movies, "The Kite Chaser", which is set in Afghanistan and the Taliban, is definitely a classic, humorous and touching. Sometimes I occasionally go through the books on the major lists, which is quite good.
Later, I wrote "The Brilliant Suns" and "The Mountains Singing Back" one after another. I haven't read it yet. They should be good. After all, my writing style is already proficient.
4. Aldos Huxley's "Beautiful New World", this reminds me of the Hollywood series "Escape from the Cloned Island", which is a dystopian trilogy with Orwell in 1984 and Zamiyajing in "We".
What is a utopia? Willingness: Heaven, Garden of Eden, Peach Blossom Land and other religions or the beautiful vision of the world, in secular terms, is communism and wife. I won’t talk about it more deeply.
"Beautiful New World" creates such a world where there are countless you who are not conceived by sexual reproduction. I divide the levels with the α-alpha; β-beta; γ-gamma delta; ε-ypsilon in physics. It is heavy and absurd to read. I was attracted to it at first sight.
5. Since Maugham has written, I must recommend several of his books. "The Moon and Sixpence": There is a saying on Zhihu that no matter what situation we are in, no matter what age, education level, and external environment, we have the choice of what we want to work for most in our lives and freedom. This freedom depends only on ourselves and has nothing to do with anything else. When we have the courage to make a choice, we are already in the freedom of life.
Although I am at home, I do not fully agree with this lifestyle. Before you reach complete financial freedom, you must be cautious. In the future, you will face countless rumors and various pressures, and even the pressure to survive. Many drifting singers in Beijing are like this. Dabing's collections of "They are the happiest", "Be good, touch your head", "Amitabha, and "I don't", write about these various people in the collections of "They are the happiest", "Amitabha", and "I don't".
I haven't read Maugham's "The Shackles of Human Nature" and "The Blade" yet. Those who know me know that I never stayed too much in the works of a writer, and it would be a cycle.
6. Ma Yuan, "The Temptation of Gondise", wrote about the sky burial in Tibet. If you are interested, you can read it.
7. "Red Pink" and "Wives and Concubines" Su Tong wrote very well about women, but they are all tragedies. I read them all, so I won't give examples of other stories.
"Red Pink" is a question of how those prostitutes become good after the liberation.
"Wives and Concubines" recreates the tragedy of polygamy in a feudal family
"The Legend of the Yellow Bird" is Su Tong's recent award for Contradictory Literature, which tells the story of a rape case in the 1980s that reflected the changes in society from three aspects of three witnesses.
8. Jin Yucheng, "Fanhua" and "Yellow Bird Record" are the same group that won the Contradictory Literature Award. The entire change in Shanghai is very authentic in dialect, and the writing method is a bit like "***'s Funeral". Fanhua started with one more line and wrote for three years.
I am a little disappointed with the Mao Dun Literature Awards in the past two recent times. There is not a single pure history like "Li Zicheng", "Jinouque" and "Zhang Juzheng". How many four years can you have in your life? There are not many people who are willing to calm down and write history now. There are only a few movies on JD.com and Dangdang.com. With a history of 5,000 years, a small country in Japan has begun to plagiarize our historical figures. Why is no one dared to write the history of the Five Dynasties? Alas, it is full of tears.
9. Yishu in "Xibao" I rarely read romance. This book is an exception. The heroine is very sarcastic and fierce, completely different from the bitter heroines I saw in TV series before. She fucked a car with a stick. I don't know if it was the Hong Kong version of "Wuthering Heights". I didn't watch the latter one, so I dare not comment too much, but "Wuthering Heights" was mentioned many times.
10. Liu Yihuan, "Drinking Player", looks like a recommended reading notes. In fact, he is really a pioneering book. The author himself is an editor. To be honest, some people may not like it, but I read it tirelessly, but unfortunately the author did not find anything else and sighed.
11. "Killing Husband" Li Ang; this is a very strange book, full of cold violence. Why did such a thing happen in the end? I didn't understand it in the end. I can only say that one era has an ideology of another era.
12. Mo Yan in "Red Sorghum"; the story is told very well, and I am a little uncomfortable with his language, so I can only blame me.
13. Nie Hualing of "Sang Qing and Peach Red"; the first letter is a bit similar to the story of survival in the isolated island. The various performances of the people on the boat are very wonderful, but unfortunately they are a bit too bad. Perhaps it is the author's personal experience, why not make it up? Perhaps she forgot that this is a movie.
14. "Rashomon" Ryunosuke Akutagawa, this is a master who wrote short stories in the early days of Japan. It is really well written.
15. "Celebrity" Yasunari Kawabata; one of the masters who wrote the last game of seven Japanese Go, played a game of Go for four months, and sometimes it took them several hours to go next. This is a book that can learn about real Go. Compared to Haruki Murakami, I like Yasunari Kawabata more. There is no reason, it just likes it simply. Next time I will recommend several other Japanese writers, all of which are early.
16. Vladimir Nabokov, "Defense"; the chess writer, Bitzweig's "Chess" is much more detailed, but why are the masters eventually similar to Ouyang Feng's tragic ending? Maybe I understand, maybe you understand, who can really know?
