Chapter 98

In the center of that day, the center of the earth, the heart of the world, the source of all rivers of snow mountains, high mountains and clean earth, beautiful areas, people know how to be good, their hearts are brave, and their customs are pure...

This is the proudest confession of a Tubo people, showing their love and infatuation for the hot land under their feet.

Songtsen Gampo, the establishment of this Tubo dynasty, not only unified the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and expanded its territory, but also created Tibetan (of course not himself, but was created by his important minister Tunmisanbozha and many noble children who went to study in India), and married Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty. This Princess Wencheng brought Buddhism to Tubo again and again. The original Tubo people believed in Bon religion, and used divination, blessings and disasters, curing diseases and deaths, and "slaughtering ghosts and gods" as their main activities.

In order to celebrate the marriage between Princess Wencheng and Songtsen Gampo, the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty prepared a generous dowry, with countless rare treasures and antiques and Buddhist scriptures. After all, he still had to buy this future son-in-law who often bothered him and had a strong strength.

The matter did not end there. I heard that in order to better preach Buddhism, Princess Wencheng discussed with her husband Songtsen Gampo. They decided to build a temple and practice Buddhism. These Buddhas had to be made of red gold. However, Tubo had not yet been civilized at this time and did not have the ability to extract precious metals such as gold in large quantities. In the end, he had to seek help from Emperor Tang, who was also rich at that time. All this was a little bit interesting. Not only did he send someone to send a Buddha statue of several meters tall for Shakyamuni to Tibet, but he also transported a large amount of gold to support them in building the Buddha, and built several meters tall for the Sangye Monastery and Xiaozhao Temple that were built successively in Tubo.

However, the red gold Buddha statues sent to several temples around Golmud disappeared one after another. A general who was sent by Songtsen Gampo to thoroughly investigate the truth of the whole matter encountered an avalanche on his way back to Lhasa. This matter was basically recorded in the historical documents of Tubo, but it was not a very glorious thing.

What makes people wonder is that in order to thoroughly investigate the truth of the whole matter, this general stayed in Golmud for several years. During this period, he was seen frequently entering several temples for worship. His words and deeds were even more pious than those believers.

This matter was forgotten in the long river of history. In the period of Langdamama (the great grandson of Songtsen Gampo), the new system of his father, Chizu Dezan, "Seven Houses to Raise Monks", increased the number of monks. The people suffered from heavy taxes and affected their livelihoods, and resented and became disgusted with Buddhism. The Buddhism he created was the essence of the late Indian Buddhism, namely the Mahayana, and was definitely not acceptable to ordinary people.

In this way, Randama carried out a large-scale campaign to destroy Buddhism in the entire Tubo territory. Randama stopped construction first, closed Buddhist temples and destroyed temple facilities, and stopped all the Buddhist temples that had been built during the Chizu Dezan period. The famous temples such as Samye Monastery and Jokhang Temple were closed. The Xiaozhao Temple was used as a cow pen, and all places for Buddhist activities were banned. Many Buddha statues were taken out of the temple and nailed them and threw them into the river. The statue of Sakyamuni brought by Princess Wencheng of Jokhang Temple was said to have disappeared a few nights before it was planned to be thrown into the river. The officers and soldiers carefully searched around, but they found nothing except the gold foil fragments cut by some sharp tools and fell on the ground. The only thing that can be confirmed is that this huge Buddha statue was divided into several pieces and buried. They almost dug up the surrounding area without any inch of land and land.

Any trace of them, they vented all their resentment in this temple. The vivid murals in the temple were wiped out and paintings of monks drinking and having fun on them. The various behaviors were incredible. Then the Buddhist scriptures were burned, and a large number of Buddhist scriptures were burned, and a few were secretly buried in caves by monks. Some Buddhist scriptures were taken to remote places by some monks. Buddhist monks were suppressed at the same time. The monks were in a terrible situation and could not live in Tubo at all, so they had to find another way out. The monks who stayed in Tubo were either forced to return to secular life or abandon Buddhas and benzene. Some of them were unwilling to give up their religious beliefs, so they took their hunting dogs and took bows and arrows to hunt and live in seclusion in the mountains. They were also forced to take the magic weapon of the primitive religion - drums, to attend worship ceremonies, which are absolutely forbidden for Buddhist monks.

A group of monks who fled from Jokhang Temple to Golmud were rescued by a group of mysterious people when Randama sent people to chase and kill them. Later, the movements of these people disappeared in the vast glaciers.

This is a real history of the prosperity and decline of the Tubo dynasty that the "Zhu Gan" told Wu Yonglin. Later, this Langdama eventually suffered a consequence because of the destruction of Buddhism this time. In Lazhen (now in Luozha County, Tibet), he was assassinated by a monk named Lalongdorji until he died. After that, due to the struggle between his two sons, Yongdan, adopted by the eldest princess, and Ou Song, born by the young princess, the ministers were divided into two factions. From then on, the Tubo royal family was divided into two branches, fighting for many years and wars. Tubo's generals in various places also dominated the country and fought for generations. In the past, some tribes belonging to Tubo also broke out from the jurisdiction of Tubo. Immediately afterwards, a great uprising of slave civilians broke out, sweeping across the Tibet region. The Tubo dynasty collapsed with the decline of Buddhism under such a situation.

In the following hundreds of years, Tubo was divided into various sects, but basically they restored the Bon religion, and the Buddhism that had been prosperous back then almost disappeared in Tubo.

"Do you know? I am actually the descendant of this general." "Bamboo" can be restored to normal words, which made Wu Yonglin next to him admire him.

"So they were not buried in snow at that time? Then how did you escape the tracking of the Tubo royal family over the years?" Wu Yonglin suddenly understood, but there were still various questions in his mind.

"We've passed through the glacier opposite you."

"ah......"

"But many people died, generation after generation, starved to death and exhausted to death."

"Actually, these people were forced to build a tomb for this general, right?"

After Wu Yonglin pointed out the truth, the "Bamboo Pole" nodded awkwardly, but then shook his head again. Wu Yonglin, a smart man, was a little confused.

"In fact, if it weren't for the descendants of the General who brought them here, they might have died long ago."

"Is there any difference between dying here and being killed by those pursuers outside? You don't have any respect for life at all."

"But we protected a group of monks and preserved some Buddhist scriptures and Buddhist principles."

"If it weren't for the monks who escaped from Jokhang Temple that made you profitable, would you take them in?"

"You are wrong. The general had already seen through the world in Golmud and had a great enlightenment from all the past. At that time, he was just tied to his duties, otherwise he would have converted to Buddhism at that time."

"So he really wanted to Buddha? Then what happened to that avalanche at that time?"

"It's just to cover up the eyes. In fact, that avalanche was man-made. As for the snow, there would be no corpses. Then they crossed the mountains and ridges and arrived near Achai's Qinghai Lake, and rested."

"Then what is this ancient tomb?"

"The general was secretly concealed because he had been kind to a lord of the city guard in Gangcha. After all, the area where they lived was a certain distance from Gangcha. Everyone was thinking that water was coming in and not overthrow the river, so that the city guard would give an explanation. But not everyone knew how to repay kindness. On the contrary, it would sometimes become a handle for some people to threaten you. The city guard in Gangcha proposed a harsh condition to the general. He asked the general to help him build a tomb, and it must be built according to the royal specifications, otherwise he would inform the news that the general and the others secretly hid here to the royal court at that time. In this way, the general and his descendants began to excavate and build for many years in the glacier here."

"What happened to those monks later?"

"Because before the general passed away, he had a last word to people in future generations. If the monks are in trouble in the future, they must provide unconditional help."

"Then tell you all the secrets brought by those monks who escaped?"

"They have no choice."

"The golden statue of that giant Buddha was actually hidden by them?"

"That's right, there is a nobleman who is actually a Buddhist believer. After learning this important news a few days in advance, he brought a group of skilled craftsmen to sneak into the Jokhang Temple, divided the red gold Buddha statue of the Jokhang Temple into several sections, and hid it quietly near the Jokhang Temple. As for the specific location, it can only be found through some corresponding magic tools."

"You are talking about the ordinary Buddhist beads and bracelets, right?"

"All the secrets are written on those strings of Buddhist beads."

Wu Yonglin was stunned. It turned out that this string of Buddhist beads had such a huge treasure. If he had the opportunity to dig it out, he would have achieved it in his life. Wouldn't the money for supporting his wife to support his family be easily solved? The more Wu Yonglin thought about it, the more excited he felt, as if there was a mountain of gold shining in front of him. No one could hide his inner greed for money, let alone this homeless man who had already been demolished and had a jingling of poverty, and there were more than 2ooos behind him waiting to be fed by him. If it were in the Lin Group, this was completely a pediatrician, but in this past life, it was not an easy thing. If this batch of gold was used as startup capital, Wu Yonglin would be confident to do something.

"Zhugan" looked at Wu Yonglin, who was excited and still dreaming of spring and autumn, and said quietly: "I will tell you this because I may not be able to live long. I hope you can take over me and continue to stay here. When the Dharma rises again, let this golden Buddha see the light of heaven again, instead of becoming your personal private wealth."

Wu Yonglin was instantly thrown into the ruthless reality, and he was actually selected by the so-called successor of this general. If he did not let him go, he might be locked up here forever in his life.

"Let's go, I'll take you to the opposite side to get familiar with the environment."

Wu Yonglin was stunned at that time. The tone of the "bamboo pole" was too big. He was so thin that he even boasted that he could take me through this valley? But the resolute and unquestionable expression on the "bamboo pole" still deeply shocked Wu Yonglin. He couldn't understand what was going on for a moment.

When the "Bamboo Pole" was putting Wu Yonglin's iron knife on the platform where Wu Yonglin was stolen on the machine room, a scene that shocked Wu Yonglin was born. The whole machine room trembled slightly. At first, Wu Yonglin thought it was an earthquake, but the "Bamboo Pole" seemed to have been used to all this. She didn't care, but she just smiled at Wu Yonglin contemptuously and took the lead in walking outside. At this time, there was a 5-meter-long bamboo pole in his hand. When Wu Yonglin asked where he came from, he slowly said something that made Wu Yonglin almost faint: "Didn't it be placed on the passage you often walk on?", but Wu Yonglin dared to confirm that he had never seen it there before. Wu Yonglin smiled happily at last, and the "Bamboo Pole" would also start to be cold and humorous. Maybe he had already regarded Wu Yonglin as his own person.

As for why Wu Yonglin was chosen by him, "Zhugan" also gave a very simple reply: "He has no choice because he feels that he has not much time left.'.

When Wu Yonglin walked out, he couldn't help but say "Wow" that if someone said that ancient people could build robots at this time, he would believe it. The passage they often walked on actually had a sliding door-like opening in the middle, with a very short stair at the exit, and a platform as big as half a basketball court was extended at the end of the stairs. The arms of the opposite mountain were already connected to the platform. Wu Yonglin finally understood what was going on. If the estimate was correct, this platform should be a huge magnet. He was rescued by the "bamboo pole" that day, and he should have been attracted by this huge magnet. No wonder he felt like he was floating in the sky during that time. It seemed that this thing was really at work.

The next scene made Wu Yonglin not know what to do.

The "bamboo pole" directly used the bamboo pole as a balance beam, skillfully walked up to one of the arms that was sucked by the magnet, and walked up steadily.

"I'm afraid of highs. I can't do such a difficult move."

"You dare to jump even if you have a cliff. Isn't this a pediatrician for you?"

"Brother, if I had known you were watching me here, why would I have to do so much trouble?"

The "Bamboo" ignored him and carefully walked onto the iron chain surrounded by black fog. Wu Yonglin was completely confused. This guy could definitely challenge the "Guinness World Record" in his own era. If he said second, others would never dare to be the first. Ordinary challengers should at least find a better daytime, but this guy was better. He just found a night, and there was also a "tight wire" in the fog. He was so bold that he was shocking.
