Prologue
"Crack" The sound of the burning fire stinged the eardrums, but could not cover up the fear and trembling wailing of death left a trace in the boy's heart. The blue alien-colored pupils reflected the crimson flames and the bright red blood splattered, but could not cover the scarlet pentagram array that appeared in his eyes.
The boy was silent without saying a trace of emotion in his eyes, and he allowed the only surviving girl to hug her neck except him.
"It's already... enough..." the girl sobbed, her short ice-blue hair trembled, her clothes were a little damaged and dirty.
After a long time, the boy closed his eyes and opened them again, the pentagram in his eyes disappeared, "I... it's really a monster, right?" The boy pulled away the girl who hugged him, lowered his head and stuttered in a low voice, with his tone of certainty but uncertain.
The girl wiped away the tears, raised her head, and looked at the black-haired boy in front of her, with serious eyes, sincere and firm, "A Ye is not a monster!"
"No...I..." The boy turned his head away, and the girl rushed to him, took the boy's hands and held it tightly: "Believe me! In my eyes, you are not a monster! So what if you have that kind of power? Didn't you save me with that kind of power? So! A Ye is not a monster! A Ye is my important friend!"
The boy's lips suddenly became soft, and he stood there for a long time.
"Haohe..." The sound of horse hooves from afar interrupted the thoughts of the two. From a distance, it seemed that it was an army of a certain country, with a flag embroidered with national emblems flying in the wind.
"Aye, you can escape from here quickly!" The girl reacted quickly, thought for a moment, and finally made up her mind to take out a sheepskin scroll from the rag bag around her waist. "This is a scroll of teleportation array that I got before coming to this military shelter, but it seems that one person can only be sent out of here..."
"...No, you'd better leave!" The boy was stunned at first, and then said, "If you can't walk together, how can you let the girl face everything here alone?"
"Don't say it! If you are caught, what will happen to you...you know, right?" The girl made up her mind and suddenly unfolded the scroll. The teleportation magic was automatically activated. The light cast from the magic circle written in ink on the scroll wrapped the boy and pulled it into the torn space door behind her.
