Chapter 527: Seriously Suspect This Child Is Broken(2/2)

In 1959, the first industrial robot appeared.

In 1965, the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory developed the Beast robot. Beast could already correct its position according to the environment through sonar systems, photoelectric tubes and other devices.

In the same year, scientists began to study "sentient" robots.

In 1968, the Stanford Research Institute announced their successful robot Shakey. Shakey was equipped with a visual sensor and could detect and accurately grasp building blocks according to human instructions.

Human research on artificial intelligence has begun very early, but only breakthroughs have been made in weak artificial intelligence. There are still many inconclusive controversies about strong artificial intelligence.

For example, should we simulate artificial intelligence from a psychological or neurological perspective? Or, in fact, human biology is to artificial intelligence what bird biology is to aerospace engineering. It cannot be used as a reference, and there is no way to study human biology.

Result? Can intelligent behavior be described by simple principles? Can intelligence be expressed using high-level symbols, or does it require sub-symbol processing?…

No one has the answers to these, and all researchers are tentatively moving forward, using failures or successes to pave a way for future generations.

The communication between the two mainly focuses on the implementation method.

Takatori Yannan had nothing to do. He listened for a while at first, but gradually he felt bald and went to the side to pour wine and drink.

Engineering methods…

Simulation method...

Genetic Algorithm…

Artificial neural networks……

Sawada Hiroki accidentally saw the snowflakes falling outside the window. He was distracted, his eyes lit up, and he ran to the window, "Godfather, it's snowing!"

Takatori Yannan laughed dumbly, a child is a child after all.

Chi Fei checked the time late in the morning. It was already past midnight, and the date jumped from November to December. He stood up and walked over, looking at the large falling snowflakes outside the window. "I'll send them back and wait until the snow stops before taking them out to play."
