Chapter 23: The Mellon Family(2/2)

In other words, David Mellon is the son of Andrew Mellon's great-grandson.

In other words, David Mellon is now a member of the Mellon family.

It's just that the Mellon family now is no longer as scary as it used to be.

When the Mellon family was strong, Rockefeller, Mgen and the like had not yet risen.

But that was before.

The Mellon family now does not have the same status as before.

Even though the name of the Mellon Consortium is still called Mellon, in fact the Mellon family no longer holds a dominant position and is just a part of the consortium.

And after more than a hundred years of reproduction, there are now more than two hundred direct descendants of founder Thomas Mellon.

The total number of collateral descendants is estimated to be thousands.

There is no main line left to occupy the wealth, and the wealth has been divided over so many generations.

Today, no Mellon group has much influence on the current United States.

Of course, our ancestors were once rich after all.

Although Mellon is not as good as before, there are still more than two hundred direct members who can maintain a wealthy life.

Several of the stronger branches are still billionaires and part of the Mellon consortium.

For example, David Mellon still has some shares in Mellon Financial Company.
