Chapter 65 What I Saw(2/2)
The restaurant had reached the final stage of closing, and the people who stayed behind began to lock the door after turning off the lights. Soon after, Caroline turned on the lights of the restaurant in the dark.
There are still a lot of leftovers in the kitchen, and there is still some unused soup base left in the pot... and bread.
Caroline was so hungry that she quickly stuffed the bread into her mouth, then turned on the gas stove, thinking of heating up the cold soup base... She gulped it down.
She sat alone in the kitchen, looking around nervously... Maybe, she could sleep safely here, and then find a chance to leave when the restaurant opened tomorrow morning?
As Caroline thought about it, she felt so sleepy that her eyelids uncontrollably closed. So she leaned against the cupboard and fell asleep.
She seemed to have had another dream.
In the dream, she saw many things... A man was squeezing her neck with his hands. Caroline painfully wanted to see the other person's face clearly... But under the light, she could not see the other person's real face clearly.
However, there is a very special tattoo on his chest.
She was still struggling wildly, but her hands and feet were obviously firmly grasped by something... It was hands, the arms of several men.
Suddenly, a man came over. He was holding something in his hand. He took out the contents and then grinned... They seemed to be talking about something.
But Caroline could only see these, she couldn't hear any sounds.
The man behind him seemed to have a few words with the man holding his neck, and then he bent down and stuffed something into his mouth.
Caroline finally saw what the man looked like...it was Boss Boston!
She will never forget this face. It is precisely because of the appearance of this black boss that her originally bad life has become even worse...
Nightmare.
"ah!!!!"
Caroline opened her eyes suddenly, and saw a cockroach crawling across the cold kitchen floor. Caroline stood up instinctively and stepped on the cockroach very quickly.
She held her hand on the kitchen workbench, feeling as if after having such a nightmare, she felt as if she had made love to four or five men all day long, and was so exhausted that she felt weak.
Caroline held onto the wall and walked into the restroom of the restaurant. She washed her face and seemed to feel better.
She looked at herself in the mirror. On her neck, the bruises from being pinched by her 'second cousin' were very obvious. She also saw that the whites of her eyes were filled with blood and were red. She looked like she was...
Like a ghost, very scary.
Caroline frowned. She was almost in front of the mirror on the wash basin. She opened her eyelids up and down with her fingers and looked at her eyeballs. She was worried that there might be something wrong with her eyes.
Suddenly, she saw a terrifying flame, like a volcano erupting, and pushed the bathroom door open.
The flames engulfed her directly, and she even saw herself being burnt black in the fire... Her eyeballs were still red.
Caroline shuddered suddenly... She was still in the bathroom, the faucet was not turned off, and the sound of running water made a splash.
Caroline opened her mouth... She suddenly remembered something and ran out of the door without saying a word and ran back to the kitchen!
At this time, Caroline was shocked by what happened in the kitchen. She forgot to turn off the gas stove.
The soup base of those thick soups had been burned to the point of foaming, and it was left there, extinguishing the fire, but letting the gas overflow... The whole kitchen was filled with the smell of natural gas.
Caroline hurriedly turned off the gas valve, and then turned on the kitchen exhaust fan. When the gas was almost gone, she breathed a sigh of relief.
Caroline thought to herself that it was very dangerous...if a spark suddenly appeared, I'm afraid she would be...
What a false alarm.
Caroline shook her head, feeling dizzy and exhausted. She slowly walked out of the kitchen, went to the sofa in the dining room, lay down, and soon fell asleep again.
Silent, silent, silent, only the ticking sound of the wall clock placed in front of the restaurant.
Suddenly, a mosquito buzzed over. After sucking Caroline's blood, it staggered away. It flew to the kitchen and was suddenly attracted by something.
That's a mosquito killer lamp.
The mosquito suddenly bumped into it... bang, the power grid instantly burned the mosquito's body to black, and sparks fell at some o'clock.
