Chapter 76 - Dramatic

…………

The war in the ruins of Dalaran ended, not long after Nathanos commanded the undead army to retreat.

Illidan Stormrage knelt on one knee in front of an altar dejectedly. Just a moment ago, the Eye of Sargeras should have been placed there. But now, there was only nothingness left in the air.

He originally succeeded. The power of the evil eye is unstoppable, and it won't be long before he can complete his mission.

But now...everything is ruined!

The demon holding the twin blades of Azzinoth heard the footsteps. They belonged to the enemy. His naga did not have legs. Illidan raised his head and saw the watcher he hated most standing on the platform above.

Maiev Shadowsong and a young elf he didn't know, and another one, his brother.

It had only been three months since he killed Tichondrius, and his brother Malfurion Stormrage's appearance had not changed much, but the way he looked at him was a little more surprised and disgusted than the previous hostility.

'Is he thinking about what kind of monster his brother has become?' Illidan thought sarcastically.

"It's all over, brother. Your conspiracy ends here!"

My brother's ruthless voice was followed by another, even more ruthless voice.

"Illidan Stormrage, because your reckless behavior has put countless lives in danger and even threatened the balance of the world, I hereby pronounce you to death."

The condescending look of Malfurion and Maiev made Illidan furious, especially the Warden who threatened to execute him.

"Your hands are covered in blood, Illidan. I can even feel the continent of Northrend still shaking in pain because of the spell you cast. This time, prison sentence is not enough." Malfurion

He tactfully agreed with Maiev's verdict on Illidan, without any sadness on his face.

"I will execute him myself." Maiev flashed down impatiently, pressing closer to her prey step by step.

The demon stood up angrily and shouted accusingly: "Idiot! Don't you understand? That spell is used to attack the undead, they are our common enemy! My mission is to destroy the Lich King's Icecrown Fortress!

"

This explanation could not convince Malfurion, let alone Maiev, but it made Kael'thas, who was silent, very excited. However, when he thought about the failure of this demon's spell, his heated mind calmed down.

came down, and he cursed himself for believing in a devil.

"Does it not matter if you sacrifice anything?" Malfurion said angrily, his face already distorted by pain. Illidan wanted to know what made his brother who upheld the druid way feel like this.

"Because of you!" Malfurion felt that it was very difficult to breathe, but he still persisted in telling a fact that he believed was established and heartbreaking. "Tylande...she is dead!"

"What?" The Blade of Azzinoth in Illidan's hand fell to the ground. He even forgot that Maiev was five yards away. If that woman seizes the opportunity now, she can easily send him to hell.

The Archdruid's anger also surprised Kael'thas, but he still had to tell the truth. After all, Tyrande had helped him transport the convoy.

"I'm sorry, Lord Stormrage. But the priestess may still be alive. She just fell into the river and was washed downstream. It's too early to make a conclusion now..."

"Shut up, Kael'thas!" Maiev interrupted him, but Malfurion already understood, and the anger originally directed at Illidan was immediately transferred to the Warden.

"You said she was torn to pieces! How dare you lie."

"Chasing the betrayer is our top priority, Malfurion. I urgently need your help, and I know you will definitely go to her first, but the opportunity must not be missed, I..."

"That's enough! Who is the betrayer now, woman? I will go find her right now."

Illidan seemed to see a little hope, and he immediately suggested: "Believe me, brother. Although we are very different, you know that I will never let Tyrande be harmed. Let me help you, I

The Nagas under me can patrol Yanhe River! At least let me do this."

Tens of thousands of years have passed, and Malfurion never thought that one day he and Illidan would have the same goals.

"Oh well."

"What?" Maiev looked up at the resolute Archdruid in disbelief, "He has done all the evil things, and you still believe in this traitor."

"Shut up!" Malfurion ruthlessly used entanglement to trap Maiev in place, unable to move. "I will settle the score with you later. Let's go, brother."

In the dramatic ending, even Kael'thas himself did not expect that his words would reverse the situation. After returning to the camp, the blood elves were cleaning the battlefield, and then they would continue to go to another place to accept the alliance's mission.

.

Kael'thas touched his chin with some discomfort. What concerned him was not the grudges between the night elves, but the battle with the undead.

"What can I do for you, Your Highness?"

"Thank you, guard. But I'm fine. I just suffered some minor skin injuries." He smiled back at the other party, but he was thinking about how to talk to the alliance commander Osmar Galli later.

Thes reported the situation. They were already late, and according to him, Garithus was an arrogant guy. More importantly, this human's family was slaughtered by the orcs in the Second War, and he was participating in the defense at the time.

Quel'Thalas' battle against the Horde. Quel'Thalas should not have been blamed for the tragic ending. But this paranoid guy blamed the elves. He believed that the Alliance's ultimate goal of protecting humans was misled by the elves.

This largely determines Garithos' hatred of the elven race.

‘It’s not pleasant to serve such a person.’ Kael’thas sighed helplessly.

"Excuse me for interrupting your thoughts, Your Highness. But this girl said she has something important to report to you and she wants to see you no matter what."

The elf prince raised his eyebrows. He saw that the elf swordsman in front of him had brought a young elf female ranger.

"What do you want from me, little girl?"

The ranger bowed to him, "I'm sorry to take up your time, prince. But I saw you fighting that undead commander on the battlefield today. What I want to say is... I know him."

There was no end to the worries. Nathanos walked at the front of the army. He walked very fast and didn't care whether the soldiers behind him could keep up.

Better not to keep up!

Commanding these people only requires a simple order, but Nathanos knows that the Lich King can take away his command at any time. After all, he is also a slave.

"Lord Nathanos."

"What's wrong?" He stared impatiently at the looming shadows. Every time they appeared, it meant that there was a new situation that he needed to deal with.

"Our troops patrolling the Arivas River discovered a powerful night elf. She was surrounded by us, but we were unable to kill her. I hope you can help."
