Chapter 24 - Cleaning Plan

…………

The Queen wanted to ride out for a ride. If Azshara made up her mind, no one in this world could change her mind... This means that Valosen had no chance to persuade her.

Azshara hadn't left her palace for a long time. She and her maids walked out of the gate solemnly and headed towards the city. Her bulky bodyguards and a team of elite soldiers of the guards were on foot.

The city was deserted. The more demons came out of the portal, the less it was easier to govern. Since the destruction, it was the first time that the supreme ruler of the night elves had visited the place close. She stared at the dilapidated houses, dirty streets, and some occasional corpses. Due to the absence of scavengers, these corpses remained intact. Varosen thought that these depressed scenes would make the queen furious, but Azshara said nothing.

The captain of the guard stared at the world outside the palace, his face kept gloomy, and he didn't want anything to disturb the queen. He is now very willing to destroy everything in front of him like he stabbed the enemy's body with a sword.

A hellhound leaned out from behind the collapsed tower, with something wrapped in his ugly mouth. As the queen's team passed by, it was chewing loudly, but soon retreated back to the darkness.

They walked for a while, and Azshara remained silent, so no one dared to speak. Although there was no danger, her demon guards followed her tightly. These demons were now loyal to her like other soldiers, and even if the Queen asked them to attack her kind, they would do it without hesitation. Of course, Azshara would never do this, because she did not want to anger Sargeras, the owner of the Burning Legion.

"He's coming soon, right?" she asked.

The captain of the guard did not understand what the queen meant: "Queen?"

"He's coming, captain. He's coming."

Captain Valosen nodded immediately: "Yes, my queen, will be coming soon. Manolos said that the portal is getting stronger and stronger."

"He must be the God of God, because it takes such a solid portal to get him over."

"What I say is, my queen."

The night elf covered in scars nodded again, trying his best to suppress his jealousy.

The city is still filled with a layer of green mist, and it is this layer of mist that envelopes most of the Kalimdo continent. For Azshara, this adds a hint of fantasy and mysterious color to her capital, and also covers up many things that may bring her unhappiness. When the world is reconstructed, she will ask Sargeras to help disperse the mist; before that, the mist is very much in her heart.

Azshara looked around and the place they were now, once an open square.

"We have to talk alone, Captain of the Guard."

Other night elves and demons would not think much about this order. But Varosen is different. As usual, he would be honored, but now it is different. Varosen feels that everything has changed. The queen is still the queen, but not like the original queen. But no matter what, he must stay - this is the queen's order!

Faced with the fait accompli, Varosen had no right to argue, so he had to stay wherever he was, while the demon guards and servants turned around and left slowly.

Azshara didn't speak until the entourages walked out of their hearing. She smiled at Varosen and said, "Is everything going well?"

“What is going well?”

The Queen looked at the sky: "Purification of my kingdom, I thought it should be done now."

"Queen, Lord Archmond will ensure the cleaning work is completed smoothly."

"But I hope it's all done before Sargeras comes. Isn't this an extraordinary gift to the master?"

The only thing Varosen could do now was to endure. He endured the jealousy in his heart and reluctantly said, "Extraordinary gift, yes. It will definitely be done."

"Then why is it delayed?"

"There are many reasons, my queen, it takes time to prepare."

She approached him, and Varosen could see her intimidating body. "My guard captain Varosen! What do I look like a soldier without a brain, like you?"

Varosen's cheeks fell. "I don't understand, queen"

"Then..." Azshara's palm was facing upwards, and a small crystal ball as small as a pea appeared in her hand. However, as Varosen looked at it, the crystal ball gradually became larger. Although the ball was blurry, it flashed with a full moon light. "Can you explain what happened to the Black Crow Fortress?"

The captain of the Imperial Guard was extremely surprised and could not even blink. What made him unable to understand was why the Queen knew that the battle situation of the Black Raven Fortress was obviously severely blocked by him, just to avoid arousing the Queen's anger.

Azshara smiled playfully. It was very easy for her to fiddle with these things. The crystal ball quickly responded, turning Varosen's thoughts into visible scenes.

"Captain of the Imperial Guard, even though you can't speak, why don't I take a look at it yourself. Are these people who block us?"

She first searched for the green-skinned and strong figure in Valosen's memory. Azshara looked closer and saw a light flashing in her eyes.

"He looks a bit like those demons. He must be a warrior like you."

"You forgot, Her Majesty, this guy was once a prisoner of Surama!" Varosen's face twisted like putty, and his face changed drastically.

"Varosen, please tell me why my pet is with the people who resist me?"

Pet? Varosen didn't understand at first, but he knew it after seeing Nathanos.

"This dead man is also a supporter of the opposition, Her Majesty the Queen. And he has caused us a lot of trouble on the battlefield, let alone..."

"What's more?"

"What's more, he stole your treasure."

"I don't care about that sword at all, Varosen. I only care about my pet." Azshara said, staring at the pale face, much like the night elf. "Is this the only one who blocks my cleaning plan?"

Captain Valosen's guard frowned and said, "Of course there are some of our own people, masters. I have heard of two, you must be very interested. These images were sent to me by others with their mental power. If they are not clear, please forgive me."

Azshara carefully observed two new people: one wearing a black robe with a braid on the back of her head; the other seemed to be wearing a mortar-brown dress with loose hair. The two looked so similar that she thought they were the same person at first.

"It's twin brothers, my queen." He explained to her.

"Twins... are interesting." She touched these two changing faces with her fingers, and said, "I'm still very young... I must not be a leader."

"It seems that mana is very powerful, but neither of them has led the resistance movement. The leader is the respected Raven Keith."

"Dear Kutalos Ravenkes...I always regard him as my most proud subordinate, and that's how he repays me."

Valosen's thick black eyebrows almost covered his eyes, and he said, "Black Raven Castle has been coveting the throne for a long time, the light of the light."

She pouted slightly and said, "I declare that Ravenkes has offended me, Varosen." Then she said, "Can you help me solve this problem?"

The captain of the guard did not look surprised, saying: "The cost may be high...but if you wish that, there should be no problem."

"Please don't let me down, Captain of the Guard."

Azshara gently patted Varosen's face, then walked towards the waiting guards, the translucent robe swaying behind her.

The captain of the guard cheered up and thought about how to meet his master's request. Kutalos Ravenkes had angered the Queen, and there was no more sinful Kalimdo than him.
