Chapter Twelve - Lilian Voss(2/2)
The voice forced Nathanos to turn around. Five warriors holding shields? Are they here to die?
"It was him who killed Lord Benedictus!"
Kokang and Yi were Nathanos' two closest comrades-in-arms. He rushed forward quickly, swept across, and knocked down the clamoring crusade. Salamani's sword blade fell down, and a dark red line instantly emerged from the armor.
A cold smile appeared on Nathanos's face: After thinking about it for so long, it was time to move his muscles and bones.
The other crusaders did not laugh. They all had strong arms and had a numerical advantage. But after Nathanos killed one, they hesitated not to know who should go first. This was equivalent to giving Nathanos a chance in vain. The withered people would not hesitate. They would all die!
Nathanos took a few steps towards the Crusader closest to him, and at the same time waved the sword in his hand upwards and picked off the shield in the human hand. The other party had no idea. Then there was a low crosscut. Salamani kissed the undulating artery on the Crusader's neck.
A clean and neat pleasure. The sudden death is painless.
Next, another cut open the throat, just like Lilian treats his father.
"I am Nathanos Wither!" he introduced himself. All three big guys were lying at his feet and died.
"The sword and shield of the Forgotten One." He told the remaining two crusaders. Each word was as cold as ice. "My lover wanted to kill me. I was indeed dead! My heart was dead long ago! And you..." Nathanos pointed at the remaining two trembling humans with blood, "I can't see the sunrise." He said.
He jumped into the air, and then Salamani smashed heavily, smashing the pebbles on the ground together. The impact force hit the living people away. A pit was left on the ground...
The rain is getting heavier and heavier!
Nathanos could see deep fear in the face of the crusaders' corpses. No matter how they viewed the dead, they greatly underestimated the situation. If Belmont was still here, it should be seen that if the withered person had a trace of so-called pity in his heart, it would have been completely dispelled.
The soul that once wanted to protect everyone was burned out, leaving only a cloud of cold darkness and ashes.
...
Lilian hurried in panic and shrank behind a dead tree. When Nathanos approached her, it was like a very frightened animal.
She looked at the person hiding under the cloak. The owner in Belmont's mouth seemed not as burly as she thought, but her cheeks were still shaking, and there was another kind of fear. What is the difference between this person and the Lich King? Once this problem appeared in her mind, Lilian began to gradually realize that the undead in front of her was different from her and Belmont.
"Will be a Forgotten?"
“What is the Forgotten?”
"No one knows your existence except the world!"
Lilian was unable to organize her words, nodded and stumbled from behind the tree. Belmont found her, hoping that she would make up her mind before dawn. Now, she had met Nathanos.
The breeze that blows the flags also passes through the cloak of Nathanos.
"We have great prospects." His eyes seemed to linger in every mountain and river in Azeroth, and in the rivers in the valley. "Let the living be unaware of our existence, and we are secretly in control of their destiny."
Controlling fate? Lilian was surprised. She couldn't even control her own fate now, let alone others? But Nathanos's words gave her this desire. She did not die under her father's betrayal, but she punished the person who betrayed her. She cut her father's throat with a sharp dagger at her waist. She did not feel guilty, but felt relaxed... Yes! Controlling fate... not only hers.
"I swear to obey you." The content of the oath was deeply imprinted in Lilian's mind. She said effortlessly and without regret: "The forgotten is the best. I will serve you faithfully, not betray you, and not escape. For this oath, I will be completely unreserved, with weapons and power."
