Chapter 27 - Clues

…………

Silence spread between them. The Regent was thinking, she was sure of Sylvanas's ability, but her sister was exactly the same as Nathanos, that was, she would never make any changes after deciding on something. She knew very well how deep the trauma she left on Sylvanas that day, so her sister would never let go of her past grudges.

Maybe I have already lost the power to stop her.

Aurelia sighed: "Your behavior will be misunderstood. If you fail, you will die, and your fellow countrymen will not regard you as a hero, because your purpose in destroying Dalkan is not because of national hatred and family hatred."

"I'm just for myself."

"You won't get any assistance. This action was planned by you personally."

"Even if someone helps me, I will refuse. This is my battle."

Aurelia was still thinking. She still couldn't let her sister die just like that.

"I have one last request."

"I know." Sylvanas smiled out of the corner of her mouth. She pulled off the emblem at the interface of the cloak, and looked at the eagle wing pattern on it. "I am no longer a member of the Wind Walker family."

"You're so crazy." Aurelia finally couldn't help but say. "Have you forgotten the glory of the Wind Walker family?"

"My heart is like a sharp arrow, sister." Sylvanas stretched out his hand and waited for Aurelia to take over her emblem, which carries all her past. "The moment when the arrow on the string is not retracted."

Aurelia did not move for a long time, she just stared at Sylvanas blankly, and finally, her sister placed the emblem on the table on the right side of the door curtain and walked out.

The Regent wanted to say something, but she didn't know what she should say, should she continue to persuade Sylvanas, or would she say "I wish you a good trip", or a simple "goodbye"?

She said nothing. She felt guilty in her heart. After her parents passed away, Aurelia vowed to protect her family...

"Come!"

She called out. A magician came in. Those who could get the title were the most elite guards in Silver Moon City. Their duty was to maintain public order in the city and obey the orders of the rulers. Now the tall Xindorei had an indescribable expression. "What are the instructions of the Regent?"

"Go and call General Ranger, immediately!"

...

As time goes by, Sylvanas returns to the Ghostland.

She is not alone, she can be considered alone.

She looked back, hundreds of untrained elves were resting in the Morning Star Tower. They acted on their own, not forming a unified whole, and would even sacrifice soon. They gathered here with their passion. Sylvanas felt a little shaken in her heart. She thought she shouldn't take them with her, maybe she would be better off alone.

She glanced at the entire dark woodland, and in her sight, even in the right direction, she could not see where Nathanos was killed. She took down the longbow Lorengolu, the only relic she had found on the battlefield about Nathanos.

"Bless me to complete the hunt, Nathanos."

"Madam, the Scourge did not find us." The scout came back to report.

Sylvanas nodded. There is no Scourge in this area, which is very good. But it is not just about natural disasters during this period. In recent weeks, intelligence has indicated that a group of trolls are flowing into Zu'aman, and many trolls are seeing reconnaissance of the ruins around the current team's location.

She looked at the building in front of her. Although all the manors in Ghostland had collapsed, the Morning Star Tower seemed to be not affected by time. The tower stood on a prominent rock at the foot of the mountain to the east of Alandal Lake, and unknown observers might think that there were still people living here.

Sylvanas half-kneeled and was surprised to find that there were some grass and trees on the unsupervised land. She raised her head and shone brightly as the Morning Star Tower penetrated through the night sky. Sylvanas saw the spectacular tower as if floating next to the central spire. It was really like a brand new one to an abandoned shell on the edge of the land of death.

‘What's so strange about this?’ the female elf thought.

This manor was actually the home of Dalkan. It was here these days that she discovered more and more signs of natural disaster activities.

This must be some kind of signal. It must be. Is Dalkan going to show up?

Sylvanas definitely hoped that.

The inside of the tower looks the same from the outside, and it looks almost glamorous and complete. Neatly tidy furniture is placed in the corner of the wall, and banners decorated with Silver Moon City emblems are hung on the pillars around it. Crystal chandeliers are hung above the head, and circling up stairs are circling up.

Sylvanas began to search. She didn't know what she was looking for, but there might be something inconsistent, which might explain why the Scourge was interested in it.

The female elf walked up the stairs. The first thing she saw was the carpet under her feet. There were folds on the edges, and it seemed that the blanket had been pulled open and was hurriedly put back to its original position.

Sylvanas bent down and pulled open the blanket, and a square loose-leaf door appeared under the blanket. It seemed that she had found something very important. The female elf knelt down and raised the door page. A purple log was placed in the small groove. There was a piece of parchment between the pages, not old yellow, but white - this is new!

"What is this?" Sylvanas opened the parchment and saw runes. She had learned the inscriptions, but she could only understand the message on it. "Abnormal phenomena... Lordaeron... Plagueland... Instigation? What does this mean?"

"General!" A soldier knocked on the door three times. He was a veteran and was likely to be serving under Sylvanas, so his title had never changed.

Sylvanas was mixed with emotion when he heard someone calling him like this.

"What's up?"

"There are several soldiers discussing that your purpose in attacking Desom is for a human named Nathanos."

This is no secret! Sylvanas felt his heart stop. As we all know, Nathanos died in the battle against Arthas, and later he was transformed into the dead. When he had already escaped Arthas, he wanted to get even a trace of trust from Aurelia, but he failed. What the Regent had in his heart was the noble and brave human soul.

"Tell them that this is indeed my purpose," she announced loudly.

"you……?"

"Dalkan will definitely die. It's just that we have different reasons for killing him."

The female elf put away her discovery.

The next afternoon, Sylvanas rode a chorus into the withered forest. The sun was emitting the last light of its day.

"Go away." She ordered the soldiers to respond.

The troops ran south as fast as possible, through the dense woods and along the foot of the mountain. Soon they stopped by a bush that was crushed and deformed.

Daisom...is right in front of you.

…………

Dalkan was uneasy about the news of the Eastern Plagueland. A large number of phenomena proved that a hidden force was fighting against the undead under the nose of the Scourge, and this behavior has never stopped. Kel Thuzad informed him about this a week ago, which was not good news. Dalkan knew in his heart that the lich did this was equivalent to doubting him. Kel Thuzad never cared about the Scourge that was stationed in the Elf Kingdom.

Unless he finds out who is behind the scenes... he is likely to lose the trust of the Lich King in the future. However, he did find a clue. The messenger he sent to the Plagueland to find an elves stronghold, but everyone inside was dead, but the murderer seemed to have left his name.

Suddenly he heard the horn of the elves, which was the charge, and it was from the Wind Walker family. Could it be Aurelia? Since Darkan heard that the female elf became the regent of Silver Moon City, he knew that sooner or later they would break up.

"What's going on?"

Darkan said on the surface, and had already begun to calculate how many people the elves had come.

A acolyte rushed in, "Sir, it's the elves. They broke through the city gate, but we surrounded them."

Darkan couldn't help laughing. The enemy was surrounded. What does this mean? They were just small troops to die.
