Chapter Eighteen - The Unspoken Condition.

…………

Nathanos waited at the place he and Merrell, and after stepping out of the residence of Orunoke, he never slowed down and swept across the plains and the highlands lightly.

The mage's mission is to monitor the spy who is infiltrated by the Forgotten. Nathanos was a little worried about whether Merell had time as an existence that had lived for thousands of years, but he needed to get specific information from the spy so that he could make plans in advance.

An emergency came from Nagran. The tribe's chief was visiting Galadar on the grassland. If he planned an assassination and then blamed the alliance, Azeroth would probably be in chaos for a while.

But Nathanos was just thinking about it. He was not stupid enough to create chaos. Now the Alliance and the Horde are all in the outer realm, which has provided a lot of room for development for the Forgotten. Moreover, Thrall was once a skilled gladiator, and now a powerful shaman. Even Nathanos himself admitted that he might not be able to beat him.

After waiting for a long time, Merriel was still missing. Did something trip up the mage?

As he was used to Merriel's raven form, Nathanos focused on the sky, hoping to find the shadow of the "Bird of Prey", but in the end the other party walked out of the hiding place behind a huge rock. Nathanos realized that Merriel might have come a long time ago.

"I've calculated that you stood here for at least ten minutes."

"You were also bored and hid in the dark and peeked at me for ten minutes."

"You should be curious why you didn't find me, right?" Merriel smiled and walked to Nathanos. Compared with the other party's gloomy face, he looked in a good mood. "Just just need to add the invisible spell to some demonic power."

"You'd better use your power carefully, Merriel." Nathanos reminded that every time he asked the mage about the demons in his body, Merriel kept silent.

"Everything is OK, the withering one." Merell smiled.

"Whatever you do." Nathanos waved his hand, "Now I want to hear some good news."

Merell nodded and said, "As you said... it is indeed the missing black dragon, but interestingly, Onyxia's mother, Hinestra, has also come. What's more interesting is that I also heard her say she wants to study a creation that can deal with the five-colored dragon."

"Five-colored dragon?" The wither became interested, "What is Hinestra going to do?"

"You'd better see for yourself. I have a spell that allows you to see everything." The mage said, and began to chant the spell without waiting for Nathanos to agree.

The wither felt as if he had been hit by something, and when he closed his eyes, a blurry picture appeared in his mind. He heard what two people with similar physical appearances in the night were saying, and also saw one of them summoning a strange dragon egg.

‘This thing?’ The Withered suddenly remembered what happened in Grimbato many years ago. Did the Black Dragon plan to use the dragon eggs formed by him and the Red Dragon Queen to conduct research on what Merrier said? However, Nathanos clearly remembered that the three dragon eggs born by Alextasa could not be hatched.

"That thing can't be hatched," Nathanos said after witnessing everything. He didn't look surprised, which made Merell feel strange. "The dragon also said this, why did she plan to use this dragon egg to make a fuss?"

"But she also said that the dragon egg contains the purest power of the life-binding person. If she transfers this power to a certain life form, the power of the red dragon will be invalid for this life form. Think about it, what will happen when she gathers the essence of other dragon clans...?"

That would be an unstoppable existence, the five-colored dragons were second to none in Azeroth, if their powers were fused together... Nathanos could not even imagine it.

"Where is this dragon now?"

The Withered Man was subjected to a strange look, and the emitter of the eyes Merriel was stunned, "What are you asking about this? Do you want to give up the curse code?"

"No!" Nathanos' eyes widened. "I must get the curse code, but I will not give up any opportunity to enhance the power of the Forsaken. Merriel, find a way to get the dragon egg from the dragon's hand, and I want to... do some tricks from it."

After hearing this, Merell laughed, "You really can cause trouble for me, Nathanos. I'll do it immediately. It will take a lot of time. If you can't force it, you can only wait for one opportunity."

"Allow you to act freely." Nathanos originally hoped Merriel could embark on a journey with him to find the curse code, but now he feels that it may be more efficient to act separately.

"I have no objection." The mage's voice became tactful. "But can you be alone? After all, there are not many people available here."

"You can find it with your hands." Nathanos took out a pressed Shadow Moon tuber from his waist, which was obtained from Orunoke. The old orc woven it into a specific shape to serve as a token to recognize his three sons.

"You're approved by Oronoke?" Merriel said. "What are the conditions he put forward?"

Nathanos recalled the anger that appeared from his bones when Oronoke heard that Neozu was still alive, and he asked Nathanos to tell him the news of the destruction of the Lich King in the future. That's all... But Nathanos knew that the old orc had something else to do.

Orunoke had three sons, Glomto, Ator, and Berak, all of whom were sent to find the Curse Code. What did they do to Curse Code? Nathanos asked no questions from beginning to end.

"I won't mention the price for now. At least Oronoke will not be an enemy, nor will he look like a person who will go back on his word." Nathanos deliberately concealed it, causing Merriel to frown. The mage calmed down and had no intention of leaving.

"Did he ask you to do something difficult?"

"No!" The Withering One refused, "He didn't mention any conditions, but I felt that he didn't say anything verbally. Maybe the time was not right."

“When is the right time?”
