Chapter 48 - Dark Clouds

…………

Sylvanas knew that she had just finished an important war. The bells ringing in Shatas now meant the end of the war. The music of the Draenei seemed more sad than the elves. This was not to welcome the return of Shatas coalition, but to allow the tired heart from the long journey to reach the resting harbor through a unique rhythm.

The female elf had sent people back to Shatas in advance to report the victory of the Void Storm - she defeated Kelthas and crushed the conspiracy of the Blood Elf Prince. Today, she returned to the City of Light with the glory of victory. As she strided along the main bridge of Shatas to the Plaza of Holy Light, there were countless people who were welcomed by different races, sending endless cheers and applause. Sylvanas accepted all these praises and gratitudes with peace of mind, but her thoughts were all on Adal. The onlookers did not seem to require her to respond to the welcome ceremony.

In the void storm, a gentle singing sound came from his ears, and Naru knew that she had won. She seemed to have heard Adal's instructions. When she leaned over and picked up the emerald green magic bead from the body of Kelthas Sun Chaser, Sylvanas wondered what secrets this thing contained? Perhaps Naru in Shatas City knew the inside story.

The troops walking behind her were as eager as she wanted to see Naru.

The closer to the Holy Light Square, Sylvanas was getting less and less tired, and her energy was recovering. When she saw Adal, there were still several familiar faces. The great wizard Kadega stood under Adal. Voretal and Ishana were receiving each other's soldiers on their own.

"Welcome back, ma'am," said Kardga.

Sylvanas nodded slightly and walked the rest of the road. "I will never be happy about this victory. Kelthas's crimes will inevitably cause our clan to be criticized."

"But your behavior will definitely allow the tribe to eliminate suspicion about the blood elves." Kadega continued: "Although... you are from Theramore."

"I also let my people go nowhere." Sylvanas shook her head, but she almost smiled when she thought that her actions would cause trouble for Aurelia. "It doesn't matter anymore, what I'm going to do is done."

"I have a feeling that you still have doubts. Is there anything I can ask me to help you?" The voice came from Adal Sylvanas raised his head, feeling anxious for a moment.

"Let me see that magic bead."

Sylvanas hesitated for a moment and took out the emerald green magic bead. A pleasant sound rang around him, and Adal was singing a spell, as if he was trying to find something from the magic bead.

The female elf took a breath and she felt Adal's thoughts intersect with hers.

‘The emerald green magic beads... strange.’

‘This is Kelthas’ thing, he brought it with him many years ago and was one of the props he launched the attack.’

The two of them were talking. However, the tension in Adal's tone was not eased by Sylvanas's explanation. This was the second time the female elf saw Naru, and she thought Naru was calm and sacred at any time and anywhere. But now Adal was like a frightened child, and his speech was intermittent.

‘Do you know he is still alive?’

"What? How is this possible?" The shocked shout blurted out, and the behavior was like a cardamom girl, not a woman as steady as Sylvanas now.

"No..." She looked at the glittering Naru and could no longer speak.

"What happened?" Worethal asked. But Kadega stopped him, and the great wizard knew that Sylvanas and Naru were having a mental conversation.

‘Yes. It’s in this magic bead. He is hurt. He is summoning a stronger being.’

"My sword pierced his heart. He couldn't be alive!" The female elf pulled out Queldra, and she could still smell the bloody smell on the sword. Kelthas closed his eyes and stopped moving. "Who is he summoning?" Sylvanas asked hurriedly. In the battle of the Storm Fortress, she did not encounter enemy reinforcements. All she could think of was the King of the Outlands. "Is it Illidan?"

‘No, not Illidan.’ Adal denies, ‘It’s even more terrible than Illidan. The fraudster Kiljadan is coming. It’s not here, it’s the world of Azeroth… somewhere unknown.’

The answer came so suddenly that Sylvanas couldn't accept it for a while. The fraudster Kiljadan, one of the leaders of the Burning Legion, was coming? He was coming to Azeroth? How could this be possible?

Sylvanas was about to ask Adal to make it clearer, but the orb suddenly ignited a fire, lost control and flew away from Adal, flying constantly in front of everyone, drawing a pattern similar to a bull's head.

"What is this?" The priest Ishana covered her expression with her hands in surprise. She, Voretal, Kadega, and everyone except Sylvanas were all on alert and slowly moved closer to Adal.

Then, a scene that shocked everyone appeared, and a figure appeared in the pattern. Sylvanas was very familiar with him. The Fallen Prince who was killed by her not long ago appeared in front of him. Even if it was just a phantom, the red robe on his body still showed his dazzling appearance.

"Kelthas?" The great wizard Kadega read out his name in confusion. Like the prophet Voretal, they looked at Sylvanas at the same time.

The female elf said he was dead, but what was going on now? They needed Sylvanas to give an answer, but the same shocked expression on her face showed that she didn't know why.

"It's been so long since I saw you, Kardga!" Kelthas laughed loudly, and every surprised expression present made him laugh even more happily. "Are you surprised..." He glanced at Sylvanas and smiled disdainfully. "Do you really think I will bet everything on the Storm Fortress?" He laughed again, and acted recklessly. "You are just occupying a worthless fortress. Your victory is meaningless. Witness the power of Kiljadan with your own eyes! You will drown in your own blood! No one can escape my revenge."

His voice echoed around and disappeared with him. The demon bead fell to the ground, losing its luster, but still attracted everyone's attention.

After a long time, Khadgar broke the silence. "The Elf Prince never speaks empty words." He turned and looked at Adal, "We need your guidance, the great Naru."

Others also looked at Adal, hoping to get solace from Naru's glory.

"The dark clouds are approaching, and Kiljadan is coming. Have a good rest. We must be prepared before the final battle."
