Chapter 57 - Visitors
…………
In such a remote north, the night is like ink. In the sacred hall of the Sunwell, the shadows are stretched long. The charcoal in the brazier is burning, illuminating the hall.
Corantil Bloodblade looked nothing special. Although he was indeed tall and strong, his black hair on his shoulder was mixed with gray silk. He didn't look like a Blood Knight at all, let alone a disciple of Leaderine. He looked just an ordinary person. His pupils were gray-green and dull, like a beast.
This was his first winter since he became the Blood Knight, young and bored - because his new life was not what he thought to fight against the undead entrenched in Quelthalas, nor did he participate in the war to recover lost lands. Leadrin did not bring him with him when he took most of the Blood Knights to the Ghostland, but left him in the Highlands of the Sunwell, guarding the Holy Land of Sindore: Sunwell.
Corantir did not train the Blood Knight, nor did he become angry because of his inability to fight. He was listening to the complaints of the blood Knights in front of him. One of them made the atmosphere very tense.
"The Regent took away two-thirds of our hands, which means that the Death Mark has reduced the defense ability and two-thirds of the defenders of the Well of the Sun."
He was speaking to Corantir! The latter stared at Queldanas' map without saying a word, and just glanced at him. There was no trace of anger under his cold expression.
"There has been no news for several months. The Regent's martial law has lasted for too long." The Blood Knight continued. "If you don't mind, Lord Corantil, should you at least ask the Regent about the situation of the Earl Leaderin. I think the Blood Knight has the right to know what happened."
Bloodblade realized that his hand was on the belt wrapped in the hilt of the sword.
But before he could do anything reckless, the huge wooden door at the entrance of the hall opened. The sea breeze that broke in the brazier was instantly extinguished. There were many figures coming in with the cold wind, five or six people. The leader was a tall man, with his whole body hidden in his wide robe.
"Who are you?" Colantiel asked, who had not spoken for a long time, and was about to pull out his weapon. He had a feeling that if the other party was his own, there was no need to hide it.
The tall man was staring at him with a cold look. The people he brought were wearing thick fur and armor. The door was closed. All the people came were soldiers, with weapons in their hands, and blood was stained on them. The people came were not kind.
All around the hall, the envoys shut up and stared nervously at the group of people coming in. The other party was also looking at them.
"Don't get close, stranger." The Blood Knight reminded again. Who can get close to here? What about the guards patrolling outside?
"I know you." The tall man's voice was cold, as cold as winter. "Liadrin's apprentice. You call me a stranger, and it seems that you don't recognize me anymore."
Corantir and his guards looked at each other, and there was no smell of death on each other, proving that they were not undead. His straight body did not look like a troll.
"Why don't you pull down your hood and talk to me?"
"Because I'm afraid you really don't know me anymore." This sentence spread to the darkest corner of the hall. The tall man deliberately lowered his voice just now, which made Corantir and the others unable to hear who the person was talking. Now, when this elegant and peaceful voice sounded again, the Blood Knights were shocked.
It was Kelthus! The tall man pulled off his hat, but what Kranti and the others saw were no longer the energetic and handsome prince. The elf standing in front of them could not even be considered an elf. His vitality was removed, his cheeks and cheekbones were prominent. The once dazzling blonde hair had become dark yellow. If it weren't for his voice and the two magic beads floating on both sides of him, Kranti would never have thought he was Kelthus. He looked more like a... undead, but the Blood Knight did not say what he said.
"Kay...Prince of Kelthus?"
"Don't be fine, Blood Knight." Kelthas said, "You must be wondering why I am here. Let me tell you. Five days ago, just as the sky was dawn, I returned to Quel'thalas, and I also went to Silvermoon City."
"Why didn't the Regent get news to us? And why did the baggage troops coming from the other side of the island say you betray your kingdom."
"Because..." Kelthas showed a twisted smile on his face, looking colder than the sea breeze. "When the end of the world comes, I hope you are still sleeping."
A knife was inserted into Kolantire's chest, and the Blood Knight could not recover from the shock at all. "Traitor!"
"Yes!" Kelthas screamed, "I no longer need this kingdom." He shone green flames all over his body, burning his robe to ashes. Corantir took a breath. The prince burst into laughter, laughter echoed in the corridor. He no longer concealed his twisted body. A crystal was stabbed into his chest, and he had become a monster.
The Blood Knight was quickly cleaned up like garbage.
Kelthas stared at the corpse on the ground with contempt, and Kolantiel didn't understand what was going on until he died.
"Okay, my loyal followers, clean up the hall and the island. It's time to announce to Quel'thalas that their king is back!"

Silver Moon City
"Are you sure? Leadrin went to the Outland?" Aurelia looked at Lothama questioningly, and the answer given to her by the Ranger Lord seemed somewhat unexpected.
"Absolutely true, Regent." Lothemma nodded, and he placed all the evidence that proved that Leah Delin had nothing to do with Muru's disappearance before Aurelia. "The great magician Romans can prove that the countess had gone to him and sought ways to go to the outer land. He said that Leah Delin was summoned in his dream and a mysterious existence guided her to Shatas. I heard that there was also a Naru in that city..."
"Enough!" Aurelia yelled, "It's simply nonsense!" Her voice shocked the beams of the hall. Lothama had never seen her speak like this before. "Romance, I almost forgot that there is such a royalist in Silver Moon City. I haven't investigated whether he has participated in Kelthas' betrayal..."
"Kelthas has broken him, Regent." Lothama realized that he was gritting his teeth while speaking, "No one wants to see the prince go astray, and he is no exception. You have imprisoned him for so long, and he has paid a huge price! I think at this moment, we must trust each other, just as we trust you, Regent!"
Aurelia's anger was slightly restrained, not because Lothama said a compliment, but because she saw Wenleza walking over in a panic.
"What happened, General?" Aurelia asked in a formal tone.
Wenleza gave a hurry and replied, "A visitor, sister, but before that, Quel'salas had never received such a guest."
Visitor? Aurelia blinked. No one has been interviewed in Silver Moon City for many years. "Who is the person coming? Are they from the tribe?"
