Chapter Thirty-Nine - Icecrown Citadel Eight

…………

Arthas is not a powerful magician, but his casting speed is much faster than anyone Nathanos has ever encountered. How powerful is Frost's Sorrow giving him?

Nathanos jumped back and pulled a distance away, successfully avoiding the first wave of ice blades. Before the second wave of ice blades arrived, he had to find a place to hide.

Destiny seemed to be joking with him at this moment - there was no cover around him.

Is this why I was led here?

Under such an terrain, he had nowhere to hide. The only way was to return to the ice tunnel he walked through when he came here. However, the situation where Arthas controlled the ice and snow just now had clearly told Nathanos that if he retreated, the Lich King would use the entire tunnel to deal with him.

That's tantamount to suicide.

He barely erected Salamani and deployed the magic barrier to defend the second wave of ice blades. Doing so can only offset some damage, after all, the power of the Lich King is much stronger than that of him.

As soon as the Ice Blade attack ended, Alsace stretched out his left hand, and a black ball with red energy circling in it appeared on his flat palm, and then shot towards Nathanos like an arrow from the string. The speed of this attack was too fast. Nathanos couldn't react and staggered backwards, covering his heart with one hand, feeling some of the energy dissipated outside his body.

"It seems you have no way, Nathanos, as you were in Quel'thalas, desperate and helpless when you faced my infinity alone."

"At least I... have a reason to continue fighting." Nathanos sneered. For some reason, his sneer made Arthas feel particularly uncomfortable. "At least, I died bravely for my mother on the battlefield to protect my relatives. And what about you? Arthas Minaishir, you seem to be good at killing elders. The unsuspecting old man on the throne just stretched his arms and wanted to hug his son!"

Arthas rushed forward and approached Nathanos in a few steps. Frost's sorrow fell down hard. In the blink of an eye, Nathanos had avoided the side. Compared to his reaction and prediction of the attack, he believed that he was not inferior to Arthas. So when the Lich King's Frost's sorrow swept horizontally, he leaned back, flipped the momentum, and successfully blocked Arthas's attack.

He heard everything that happened in the Gate of Heavenly Condemnation. The rune sword strike made Sarufar's son pay the price of his life, but it was just because the orcs faced the Lich King head-on. Nathanos didn't know whether Saramani could withstand the Frost Sorrow attack once, maybe, but how many times could he withstand it?

Nathanos began to circumnavigate towards Alsace, searching for possible weaknesses of the Lich King.

"You want to deny what I said? But that's the truth!" The Withered One tried to anger Arthas, and he did it inadvertently. If the Lich King was controlled by anger, maybe he would reveal his flaws next.

Arthas smiled, making Nathanos mistakenly think that he was not trapped. The attack suddenly came when Nathanos thought so. Nathanos, who was standing in the distance, had to fight to the death to survive the next moment. Frost sadness hit Salamani. Both sides were shocked. This strange-shaped weapon actually blocked the slash of the rune sword without any damage. What made it so tough?

Nathanos pretended to retreat, gave up space, then waved his weapon and launched a powerful slash. Arthas couldn't help but be surprised, and he was forced to retreat.

After both sides pulled apart, the Withered stared at Salamani in surprise, thinking whether it was the reason for this sword or his own power that allowed the sword to increase significantly. If that were the case, he could not be afraid of the Lich King. Questioning his power would make him fail. Nathanos closed his eyes and opened his eyes in an instant, leaving his fear of the Lich King aside. He also knew that what he had feared before was not Alsace, but just Frost sadness. Now that the rune sword can no longer cause damage to him with one blow, it means that there is still room for maneuver in this battle. He had increased his confidence and held the sword in his hand tightly.

Arthas also hesitated to look at Frost's sadness. The situation just now shouldn't have happened. Was it an accident? He continued to advance and suppressed Nathanos' tricks with fierce and powerful attacks. Every time he was blocked, he was extremely surprised. Nathanos was a master of swordsmanship, and he was not surprised, but what was the sword? Frost's sadness could not destroy it.

Anger burned in Alsace's eyes, he would not doubt his power, but Nathanos was better at fighting weapons, if he could not destroy his sword...

The attack was launched again, and Nathanos stared at the movements of Frost's sadness. Alsace suddenly changed the attack direction of the rune sword when he was three steps away from him and landed unstoppably towards Nathanos' naked throat.

The Withered man widened his eyes and controlled his body to react. He was forced to take a step back suddenly. Suddenly, he slipped. Arthas roared and stabbed forward, intending to kill Nathanos in one fell swoop.

"Don't think about it!" Nathanos popped out his legs and hit Alsace with all his might. The Lich King snorted and retreated.

"Do you remember the moves that Muladin gave you? You never did class seriously. Oh, by the way! The elders you have harmed include him!"

The frustration of failure was a hundred times more painful than Nathanos's kick, but what Alsace felt the most painful was that he still remembered the training Muladin had given him a long time ago. The battlefield tricks that the dwarf liked to use immediately filled his mind. And just now he was used as the subject of experiment by Nathanos.

Arthas shouted angrily. The anger suddenly blurred his vision. He tried his best to swing the sword blade towards Nathanos. Frost sadness stabbed the ground.

Nathanos is gone!

"Who is it!" Alsace roared. He then heard the sound of the propeller and saw what took Nathanos away - the Possession, the Alliance sent the cancer to the Ice Crown Glacier.

"Let's fire! Open fire!" A roar sounded on the airship deck, and several cannons were aimed at him at the same time. The shells flying all over the sky hit the platform. The thick smoke blurted everyone's vision.

Nathanos felt a dizzy feeling, which was a sign of a person not ready for teleportation.

"Are you okay?"
