Chapter 2 - Sewers
…………
The great wizard Romans paced back and forth in the Tower of Sun Rage. This was really ridiculous. The future crown prince of Quelthalas actually disappeared in public, and it was not a kidnap, but he ran away by himself.
Belorel was only twelve years old, and was still a child. He actually used sweat medicine to faint his guards, avoiding everyone's sight and fled into the portal leading to Dalaran.
It has been a whole day since the accident happened and the Regent has not returned yet, which means that Belorel is still "attacking the law".
"That little guy should be locked up. He had no idea how shameful it would be to lose his heirs in a kingdom." Romans complained, and then he heard someone replying to him.
"Which kingdom will imprison its crown prince?"
The great master looked up and saw Rothema coming over. He couldn't figure out why anyone could be so calm.
"It seems that the Regent's son is very smart and has not been found yet."
"His intelligence is used in the wrong place." Romans turned around and said, the teasing expression on Rothema's face would only make him even more angry.
Rothema nodded in agreement, "Maybe we should think about why Belorel sneaked away, maybe there is some reason here."
"Isn't this what the Regent asked you to investigate?" Romans asked back.
The Ranger Lord shook his head regretfully, "It's a pity that I didn't find anything. I searched Belorel's room all the time but found no clues."
"This is really bad." The great wizard said solemnly. Not finding means that there is no way to determine Belorel's whereabouts. Where is he going? What exactly is he going? After a long time, if this matter is worn out, it will inevitably make the people of Quel'thalas panic. Some people with bad intentions will even find Belorel first and then use him to threaten the blood elves.
"Are still not found?" Aurelia asked the Ranger Captains who were coming back one after another.
The Regent was on the verge of getting angry, and no one wanted to be the flame that ignited the powder barrel, but they really tried their best.
"This is impossible! He must be here, I am his mother, and I can sense him."
Wenleza looked at Aurelia. She couldn't understand her sister's current mood. As the closest person to her family, only Wenleza could understand how much Aurelia loved her children for so many years. The Regent also said that she would hand over an absolutely powerful Quel'thalas to Belorel.
“Doesn’t there be any places like the most easiest places for hiding in the Magic Commercial District or Ritual Square?”
The Ranger Captain who was responsible for searching these two areas shook his head one after another.
Aurelia closed her eyes pale and her breathing became heavier.
"Sister?" Wenleza called softly, and she suddenly thought of something when she heard the name Rimu Square. Aurelia did not respond unless anyone can tell her the answer to the question now - where is her child?
"Next to Rimu Square is Sylvanas's territory. Will Belorel run to that place?"
Silver Dawn? Aurelia opened her eyes. There was indeed only Silver Dawn in the whole Dalaran. However, Silver Dawn belonged to the alliance, and its members were all elves. Aurelia believed that no matter how naughty her son was, she would never be able to go to the enemy camp.
"He won't. I've taught him to identify the flags of the alliance and the tribe. When he sees the flags of the alliance, he can't get close to them."
Wenleza nodded thoughtfully, "Then there is only one place."
“Where?”
"There is only that place below Dalaran - the sewer, we have not searched yet."
When she heard the sewer in her sister's mouth, Aurelia subconsciously frowned slightly, and she felt a little resistant in her heart, but she didn't refute anything. She had heard of Dalaran's sewer for a long time. It was simply an underground black market and a place where fish and dragons were mixed.
"Then go find someone familiar with the sewer as a guide and search carefully."
The Blood Elves entered the entrance of the sewer without any obstruction. Surprisingly, the Regent and the Ranger General decided to visit here in person. The ruler of Dalaran initially believed that Sindore had been making trouble in Dalaran for a long time, so he asked them to leave, and said that the Magic City was not an orphanage to take in wild children, but under the persuasion of Azas, he finally allowed the distinguished guests to stay for an additional hour.
It was only an hour, and it was not easy to search the entire sewer. Aurelia thought this was the last time she could stay in Dalaran, so there was no need to continue to hide it. She and Wenleza changed into ranger costumes and walked into the sewer under the guidance of a Dalaran mage.
The Regent didn't like this place at all. At first, she thought it was the environment that made her feel uncomfortable, but after stepping in, she remembered something. Many years ago, Orgrim, the chief of the old tribe, escaped from the sewer of Lordaeron. She still remembered that the sewer was a place with no order, with many black merchants and criminals, and homeless men. Aurelia thought to herself that her child had lived in the sun all the time. Would he really want to come to such a place? If he encounters an accident here... The Regent begged not to happen.
"Why doesn't the Kenreto Council limit this place?" Wenleza asked the mage who led the way.
"The sewer was once a prison, the Ranger General. Your prince was once imprisoned."
Wenleza was stopped by her sister before she got angry. She looked at Aurelia and then noticed that the mage who led the way was a human. The Ranger General thought that this was arranged by Ronin on purpose? Although Dalaran is a neutral city in name, anyone with discerning eyes knows that they are more inclined toward the alliance. Sarcasm to them is indispensable.
"Thank you for your reminder," said Aurelia. "Now I feel relieved, because this prison can't stop the will of Sindores."
It is true that Kelthas was indeed imprisoned here at the beginning, but he successfully escaped and was under the strict supervision of humans.
"About this, Master Luo Ning once issued an order, which prohibited the blood elves from entering here in order to avoid you from forming a cooperative relationship with some evil existence."
"It's enough!" Wen Leisa angrily rebuked. Someone actually took out the story of Kelthus's adult life and criticized the blood elf. Outsiders didn't know how much price Xindore had paid to fight against the Sun Chaser Prince. "If you don't want to lead the way, just get out."
