Chapter Nineteen - The Red Dragon Queen
…………
"I'll put you down here."
Caregus said. He volunteered to carry Aurelia to the place she needed to go-Crystal Forest, where Alex Thassa was.
"She won't like someone to bother her, especially her kind."
When Caregus said this, he felt deeply regretful in his tone. Aurelia had heard Lan Long tell the whole story on the road.
Since the fall of Marigos and the end of the Magical War, the Dragon Clan held a gathering to consolidate the Dragon Clan coalition. This meeting was interrupted by the Twilight Hammer, a cult organization that followed the Deathwing. During the battle, a terrible explosion occurred. All the dragon temples of the Dragon Clan in the bottom of the Dragon Clan Temple were destroyed. Alextasa's favorite spouse Crasus disappeared, and the dragon eggs in each Dragon Clan temple disappeared together. The one who caused the explosion was Crasus himself.
At first, Aurelia thought it was a premeditated rebellion, but Caregus did not seem to agree with it. He said that Crasus, whom he knew, was calm and caring about others. There must be something hidden here.
Aurelia jumped behind Caregus.
It is actually very simple to find a red dragon in the air. Even if the target becomes a slim female elf, a crimson color appears on the snow-white land of Jingge Forest, which is easy to see. Alextasa is leaning under a tree at this moment, staring at the front with her eyes blankly, as if waiting for the arrival of death.
"Maybe you should go with me, after all, as a similar person, your support is even more important," said Aurelia.
Karegoth shook her head, "She only feels pain. You don't know how many people in the Dragon Clan are suspicious of Crasus."
The female elf nodded expressionlessly and said, "I can only do my best."
Blue Dragon looked at Aurelia solemnly. "Come here when you are ready to leave." Then he jumped into the sky.
As the female elf gradually approached, she could see the Red Dragon Queen clearly. Alextasa's body was curled up tightly, her knees were pressed against her chest, her head was resting on the trunk, and her long red hair hung down.
"I know you, Elf. Quel'thalas is not here." Alextasa said as Aurelia had just climbed out of the bushes. Her beautiful and touching voice seemed so tired and depressed.
"I'm not willing." Aurelia took a deep breath and replied.
Alextasa didn't say another word. The female elf walked to the Red Dragon Queen, and the other party looked up at her, but the scene in her eyes was the magical city Dalaran floating in the air.
After a while, Aurelia said, "I know who you are. People call you the Swallow-Binder of Life."
The Red Dragon Queen suddenly burst into anger on her beautiful face, "Enough, don't remind me again! I don't want to bear this burden anymore!" Her reaction did not surprise Aurelia. What the Regent did not expect was her next words: "The Swearing Bonder of Life? Titan Aional, who gave me the power of protection, I curse her, and she pressed such a heavy burden on my shoulders."
"So, are you waiting to die here?" Aurelia asked, finding Alextasa's lips dry and hungry face, and the forest she was in was filled with snow and berries that could be used to quench thirst.
"It's not your business at all."
Aurelia was a little stunned and suddenly said in a low tone: "Then maybe I can relieve your pain." As she said that, she put her hand on the dagger on her waist.
Alextasa's reaction ability seemed to be slowed down by his long-term lack of water and eating. She did not move until half of Aurelia's weapon was pulled out, but it was reflected on her face. Her eyes were closed, as if she was ready to accept death. This made Aurelia angry.
"Titans are so blind!"
Alextasa did not reply. The cold wind stirred up her burgundy hair curls, causing the scattered hair to flutter up and down her temples. Aurelia didn't know how to continue to speak. She originally wanted to arouse the anger of the Red Dragon Queen. Now, Alextasa showed only numbness and death-like despair.
She then asked, "What kind of experience has made the strong-willed guardian so vulnerable? Have you forgotten your duties? Have you forgotten who you are?"
"They are all dead! They are all dead!" The voice of the Swooist Swallowed by rage. "Life respects me as the queen, and wants my assistance and protection, and I have paid for it without compensation. But betrayal and death! Why do these two things come to me after sacrifice?"
Suddenly, Aurelia felt a fiery anger. Can everything be done well? Can disaster be avoided without asking for reward? She clenched her fists. Nathanos's death is still a painful wound in her heart, and Aurelia will never forget him. Her husband's sacrifice is still vivid in my mind. In order to protect her beloved, Nathanos paid the greatest price. He is just a human, a mortal. The life-bounder is different. Her power is very powerful. She can do things that ordinary people cannot imagine. But she stays here and accuses her of injustice.
"Do you think the only one you care about die?" Aurelia shouted, "Is it the only one who suffers from a cruel fate? My parents died under the flames of your red dragon."
Alex Tsa stared at Aurelia in shock, the elf's words and voice seemed so resentful.
"If you are here to take revenge, just do it."
"Your lover is dead, right?" Aurelia seemed not to hear the response from the Red Dragon Queen, and continued to say what she wanted to say, "Have he been resurrected to become a dead soul? Have he experienced his experiences with you on the battlefield? Have you ever had the determination to send him to the grave with your own hands? Have you ever experienced these?"
