Chapter Thirty-Two - What Not Found
…………
Nathanos smiled in the blind spot of Woking's vision. He was laughing at Garrosh. Why did the orc send only one assassin to kill the troll - a mere one. Has Garrosh fainted to this level?
"My conditions... are very simple." Nathanos paused deliberately, making Woking feel that what he wanted was not so easy to satisfy.
"Tell me, look."
"The tribe... cannot be enemies of the Forgotten Ones within half a year after Garrosh's complete failure."
The trolls were flirting with their faces and analyzing the demands of the withered. Why is this sentence? The tribe never declared war head-on for the Forgotten.
"I don't understand what you mean," Woking said out of caution. "Would you do something that harms the tribe? Want to use this deal to delay time?"
Nathanos smiled coldly. "The harm is not a question, I just want to lose one enemy. I hope that the tribe will not hinder the Forgotten Ones at that time."
He might act in the midst of a war with Garrosh.
“Can you guarantee that the agreement between us is fair?”
The undead nodded slowly. "There will be a Forsaken unit to help you. We will not kill prisoners indiscriminately, nor will we occupy an inch of land, nor will we destroy it wantonly. After the war is over, they will immediately withdraw without leaving any soldiers."
"It sounds good, but I don't think you're so generous." Woking shrugged as much as he can. The mysterious magic on Nathanos's hand could only keep his throat in the future, but the rest of his body still lacked strength. "I want to know more about what you can get."
"What I can get won't be the tribe's stuff, but it will scare you, and many people will be unable to sleep or eat."
Woking wanted to know who "you" in Nathanos refers specifically to, alliances and tribes? Or everyone?
At least, they will not be enemies now.
"From your tone, it seems that with your help, Garrosh will definitely lose."
The severe pain swept through Woking's body again as Nathanos took his hand away.
"What you have to think now is how to persuade those who follow you to receive the help of the Forgotten One after you are recovering."
The injury almost drained Woking's strength. Before he could agree to the undead's conditions, Nathanos had already stood up and left, as if the agreement between the two had been reached.
What exactly is he going to do?
………
As soon as he walked out of Woking's resting room, Nathanos saw Zhu Talan pace back and forth in the courtyard.
"Can those who wither speak in one step?"
Zhu Talan’s request was just a polite remark, so the Withered just nodded.
The Shadow Trap School still had no expression on his face. He took Nathanos to the deepest pavilion in the Zen temple. His feet were exposed in the cold wind, and there was no trace of people leaving in the snow on the aisle that had not yet been cleaned. It was a quiet place, and the Panda people hoped that their conversation would not be heard by a third person.
"It seems you have a lot of questions to ask me."
"How is the troll you picked up by your man?" Zhu Talan narrowed his eyes.
"He has consciousness and his body is recovering. However, the wounds are still healing very slowly. Although he is a troll, fatal wounds will test their recovery ability."
In the center of the pavilion is a small table with teapots and tea cups on it. Nathanos can still see a trace of heat floating out of the teapot.
Zhu Talan pointed to the chair beside the rectangular table and signaled Nathanos to sit there. Then he sat down opposite him.
He brewed two cups of tea with skillful techniques, one for the wither, and the other cup was held in his hand, and took a deep breath in the misty tea atmosphere, which seemed to make him feel very relaxed.
"I think you still want to know about Woking."
Zhu Talan frowned slightly and looked dull. "It is no surprise that people from alliances and tribes appeared on Pandalia. However, no leader has ever appeared alone in Pandalia's wilderness. And he is now receiving treatment in my Zen temple."
Nathanos put down his cup. "My Master, have you spread this news?"
The Panda man shook his head. "I'm not that pedantic, withered. The hatred between the tribe and the alliance is already deeply rooted, and both sides are scarred. If the news of Woking is spread, how many eyes will be staring here? I don't want to cause trouble."
The trouble is not just from the league. Nathanos nodded slowly.
"Then what do you mean by asking me for?"
"I have to ask clearly whether keeping him here will involve us in the conflicts of struggles and conflicts in the outside world? Can we send him back to his camp?"
"I'm afraid I have to tell you why Woking was here." Nathanos revealed the troll experience to Zhu Talan. The head of the sect's face instantly sank.
"You just asked if the Panda people would get involved in conflicts in the outside world? Master Zhu, I think when the alliance and the tribe arrived here, you were already in the struggles in the outside world. The only thing that is thankful is that the Panda people have not yet chosen to stand by."
Master Zhu Talan smiled slightly, with almost no sound, and then the smile flew away. "Well said, wither. I will arrange it and strictly seal the news of Wojin coming to the Shadow Trap Temple."
"When he is healed, he will leave on his own."
"I hope so." Zhu Talan's expression soothed a little. Nathanos suddenly felt that the leader was really stubborn. After so long, his views on the alliance and the tribe remained at the beginning. He did not like it, was neglected, and was a little repulsive.
Even though the war was brought by them, one thing that has to be admitted is that the alliance and the tribe played a lot in resisting foreign enemies.
On the Fear Wasteland and the Mantis Plateau, there are more or less people from both sides to help the local residents deal with the Sha and Mantis. There is an old saying by the Panda people: the enemy is a friend.
"Isn't Garrosh's behavior more worrying than the possible impact Woking would have?" Nathanos suddenly spoke, as Zhu Talan was about to raise a glass to drink water.
The Panda Monk with a straw hat stopped his movements. "The Lizardman is the creation of the Mogu tribe, and this is not a secret to the Panda people. We have investigated for thousands of years, but we have not found out the reason why the Mogu tribe created creatures."
Zhu Talan means that Garrosh can only waste his energy in the end, but Nathanos doesn't mean that.
"Sir, what I want to say is that there is a holy bell first, and then the lizard man. Garrosh is trying hard to find evil forces in Pandalia. Those secrets hidden by you." He stared at Zhu Talan, his meaning was already very clear. "What we should worry about is whether those evil things that have not been discovered by him will fall into his hands."
