Chapter 45 - Transactions

…………

Quelsellas

Turayan led the army to be stationed in a valley, and he told the soldiers on the night watch to be careful of the enemy. In the forest, especially at night, the trolls are good at sneak attacks.

"Aleria is still not back?" Kadega asked before he had walked in front of him. The mage nodded and sat next to him in habitually. "I asked Aleria's rangers to look for their commander, but the result was that the female elf was gone."

After hearing this, Turayan closed his eyes and pondered. Kadega could see that he was suppressing his inner emotions. If he was not the commander or Kadega was not here at this time, Turayan would definitely be furious.

"Relax, commander." Kadega threw a piece of wood into the fire, and his words made Turayan realize his responsibility again and could not let personal emotions affect his judgment.

"I understand, Kadega, thank you." Tulayan stared at the flames. He is now very grateful to Lothar. This warrior who has been fighting for a long time seemed to have thought that he might have such a problem, so Kadega followed him. He instructed Kadega to keep Tulayan focused at all times.

"General Turayan!" A soldier hurriedly ran into the tent. "There is a situation!"

Turayan and Kadega quickly stood up, and they heard no shouts of killing, which meant that it was not a night attack, but something else. But what they saw as they walked out of the tent shocked them.

Fire! The forests in the north of the night sky were filled with fire! They even lit half of the sky.

"It's a tribe, they are burning the forest!" Kadega said loudly, looking at Tulayan and asking for his instructions. The Paladin looked in that direction, and at the same time turned to look at Kadega, the other party nodded at him.

"We must stop them." He shouted, looking up again to confirm what he saw, and then turned toward the messenger behind him. "Notify all troops." He announced. "We will march northward. When we meet the orcs, we will launch an attack and catch them off guard. Remind everyone to bring enough water as much as possible and then assign some troops to put out the flames. We cannot let the forest fire burn around us." The messenger nodded, saluted, turned around and conveyed the latest orders to the rear.

The light from the fire attracted all the creatures in the forest. Nathanos was on his way to the Tower of Windrunners. Unlike during the day, he changed into a black cloak and leather armor. As for why he appeared here, he was still a little worried. After seeing the entire process of the ogre being transformed, Nathanos doubted whether the alliance could withstand the attack of the tribe. On the way, he met the elves who were hunted by Zu Jin. The ground was full of pools of blood, and more importantly, the dead shape of these elves was extremely ugly, and the wheat-colored skin was covered with blood.

"Only these two elves fell together, their expressions were not fearful but surprised, and their weapons were not passive, which means they died before they could react. Is this the conflict. Asxs.?" Nathanos raised his head and stared at the big tree behind the elves' corpse. He could see clearly the traces of the trolls passing by above. The other party was an expert in ambushing. Nathanos continued to search for possible clues, and finally he came to the side of the elves who blew the horn.

"Is this the guy who attracted me?" Nathanos looked at his cold hand and grabbed the damaged horn. "It's so miserable!" He stood up and patted the dust on his hands. Judging from the results of the scene, the trolls had an absolute advantage in the number of people. Except for the two elves just now, the other elves had wounds caused by more than three different weapons.

"At their speed, they should have arrived at the Tower of Windrunners now." Nathanos thought. This had nothing to do with him, but he told himself that this was bad news and urged him to speed up his pace to support Windrunners.

"Hell! Why do I think so? Why am I worried about Aurelia?" Nathanos whispered: "I should investigate the fire instead of wasting time here." He said verbally, trying to change his mind, but to no avail. His heart controlled his legs and ran towards the Tower of Wind Walker.

Orgrim urged his soldiers to continue setting fires, and then ordered some soldiers to be on guard. Red was very puzzled by Orgrim's idea, which was completely inconsistent with the original plan. He warned Orgrim that this would expose the Horde's position, but the Hammer of Destruction told him that it was to let the Alliance discover them.

"If you want to attract the league to come here, we should use the terrain to ambush them." Red walked behind Orgrim and said.

The Hammer of Destruction placed the weapon on the ground, holding the hammer handle with both hands. "No need, I just need to lure them over."

"You have said that we'd better not expose our whereabouts. What made you change your mind?" Red asked, wanting to know, as did the leaders of other clans.

"It was the human messenger just now." He grinned. Red knew very well that this was the expression that Orgrim would show when he won, but his words made the orcs around him even more confused. Only Red knew that the Hammer of Destruction brought him to a valley a few hours ago, where they met a human. Unconsciously, Red's thoughts returned to the past:

"Why did you bring me here?" Red followed Orgrim, and the other party did not answer him.

They moved step by step along a path in the mountains to the valley below. It was late at night, and the other orcs had already fallen asleep, but the Hammer of Destruction had an important thing to do, and let Red follow him. The chief moved silently, holding the hammer hanging behind him with one hand to prevent it from touching on his back, and the other hand reached forward to groping the way forward. The waning moon hung above his head, and the moonlight was enough for him to tell the surrounding situation. Some small insects were chirping nearby. Apart from that, there were no other sounds in the mountain.

As they approached the bottom of the valley, they suddenly heard some other sounds. A figure of humans in the distance, walking clumsily towards the bottom of the valley. The Hammer of Destruction bent down, hid on the side of the path, and took the Hammer's shoulders off and held them in front of them. The sound of shoes stepping on the stone became louder and louder, and the Hammer of Destruction observed carefully. Soon he saw the figure in a cloak walking down the last slope and entering the valley.

Rather than saying that this is a valley, it is a hiding place. It is not spacious, with cliffs on all sides, making it covered up and a good shelter or hiding place. It is wise to choose to meet here.

When the Hammer of Destruction looked at the man motionlessly, he was leaning against the stone wall and gasping, then stood up and looked around, "Is anyone?" the man in the cloak shouted in a low voice.

"I'm here." The Hammer of Destruction responded, and he stood up straight and walked out. The stranger also stood up straight. When the Hammer of Destruction approached, the man took a deep breath. The Hammer of Destruction saw a finely crafted sword hanging on him, without any wear and tear. He realized that this human would not use a sword at all. 'A coward.' Orgrim commented on the human being disappointed. He hoped that the other party was a warrior, and those people would express their attitude directly.

"You... are you Lord Hammer of Destruction?" The man stammered, very nervous, "You can speak human language?"

"There are many prisoners of your race in the cage of the tribe. I can also speak elves, which were taught by the trolls." The Hammer of Destruction replied, "And what about you, humans? Did you send me a message?"

"It's me." The man answered, pulling his cap down to ensure that he could completely cover his face. The Hammer of Destruction noticed that the thing was made of fine fabric and had exquisite patterns on the edges. "I want to talk about anything...any unpleasant happen to us." His speech was slow, like talking to a child.

"We should kill him." Red held the battle axe tightly and prepared to take action. The human's mouth made some fearful sounds and hurriedly retreated. Orgrim stopped Red, who looked at him in confusion.

"It's great." The Hammer of Destruction ignored Red's doubts and observed the surroundings for a moment. He wanted to know if this man had brought an assassin. Even if there were, it would be impossible to be discovered by smell and hearing alone. He had to take risks and believe that this man came alone.

"It's not the first time I've been in contact anyway." The Hammer of Destruction said slowly. A human came to him when the Horde attacked the Alliance before. "It's just that the methods are different. Are you humans connecting in this way? Through trained birds?"

"This is one of these methods," the man replied. "I know my man can't send messages to you by the last time he approached the tribal army, and I can't think of any other way, so I had to release a bird, did you kill it?"

The Hammer of Destruction nodded, unable to control the smile on his face, and he noticed that the man's face began to sweat. "It was only when we realized that it was a messenger when we found a piece of parchment tied to his legs."

The man stretched out a shaking hand and shook it, and he still kept calm. "It's just a bird," he pointed out. "I'm more concerned about how to avoid a more tragic casualties."

The Hammer of Destruction nodded: "That's what you said in your letter. So, what are you going to do?"

"Add to you," the man replied.

"What to discuss?"

"As a warrior and leader, you can restrain your actions." He replied. "You can keep my people and the city still in peace and prosperity. There is no killing, no robbery, no destruction, or other atrocities."

The Hammer of Destruction thought about his words and placed the hammer in his hand behind him. "I understand." Orgrim sneered. The side represented by this human being was the most vulnerable part of the alliance. He came here to make a deal with himself. "So what reward can we get from it?"

The man smiled and showed an expression trying to show friendship, but in Orgrim's eyes it was just a flattering look. "A passage, absolutely no eyeliner, no obstruction channel." He slowed down his speech, letting these words condense in the air.

"oh?" A hurdle of Destruction flashed with a hint of eagerness, and he signaled to continue.

"You and your soldiers are trying to attack Quelselas," the man pointed out. "You are trying to destroy the alliance's army here, but I have to tell you that Lothar only sent half of the army to stop you, that is, half of the alliance's army stayed in Lordaeron."

Orgrim hugged her hands. "I know all these, and say something I don't know."

"Even if you defeat the alliance here, you must return to Lordaeron to defeat the remaining alliance. Maybe a few months later, because your army needs rest. Then you will lead them through the snow-capped mountains to invade Lordaeron, but Lothar can completely stop you with the dangerous terrain there." The man said, and Orgrim finally heard what he wanted to hear.

"For those who are familiar with it." The man patted his chest and smiled: "It is not difficult to resist an army that has several times more often. Your tribe may be able to win, but it will definitely suffer a heavy blow. In this way, you will not be able to capture Lordaeron."

This human being said something right, and Orgrim also thought of this, and planned that the war might last for several months, or even a year.

"So are you here to provide us with any tactics?" Red looked at the human in disgust. As long as he had any actions he shouldn't have, he would kill the other party immediately.

"No, I just said, I'll provide you with a passage so that the guards in this area will not block your army. The tribe can safely reach outside Lordaeron."

"A channel for your country to be safe?"

The human nodded. Orgrim knew he was laughing, but why couldn't he explain it directly? He could see clearly the stranger's appearance that was previously covered by the hood. He was thin and elegant, and looked very smart, but this still couldn't hide his fear.

Both sides fell silent until...

"Very good, I agree!"

Red's thoughts remained here. He still remembered several times he tried to persuade Orgrim not to believe in humans, but the chief scoffed at it.

"It's now! Attack." Deep in the jungle, Tulayang shouted loudly to charge and rushed towards the orc who was being let go.

"It's finally here!" The Hammer of Destruction clamped his weapon tightly.
