Chapter 29 - Arrival

…………

They set out at dawn. The clear water lake outside Lordaeron was an ideal place for casting spells. It was secluded enough and few people came here.

"The most important thing is the time anchor." Nathanos handed the fragment to Alexstrasza. "This thing can help us determine our destination to Azeroth."

"What about Draenor? How do we get to that world?"

"I have solved this problem long ago."

What Nathanos did not explain is that the time anchor on Draenor's side is Kairozdormu himself, and they want to return to the past of Outland while the soul of the bronze dragon has not completely dissipated.

"Are you ready?"

Alexstrasza didn't know exactly how to prepare, but she saw that Nathanos had a heavy backpack. She was curious about what was in it.

"Your appearance reminds me of an activity that mortals enjoy - outing."

"Perhaps traveling is more appropriate, we are going to a foreign country."

The Red Dragon Queen smiled and stretched out her hand to him, which was equivalent to giving up the last chance to regret. The fragment was held in the palm of their hands.

The Blighter concentrated his mind and focused his thoughts on the fragment. The spell began to take shape, and the world around him began to move.

"Close your eyes."

In her heart, a voice told Alexstrasza to do as he said. The moment her eyes were closed, a strong arm hugged her tightly, forcing her close to Nathanos's chest.

They kept spinning, like two fallen leaves swept up by a whirlwind. The speed of rotation was getting faster and faster. The Withered One could no longer see the scenery around Cheshui Lake. Only various sounds and images impacted his ears and eyes. He saw

everything that happened in the past.

The rapidly rotating surroundings filled his field of vision. A space-time tunnel appeared above his head. His legs had left the ground and were floating in the air. Every bone, every inch of muscle, and every nerve in Nathanos's body was sharpening.

Yell. He was not the only one to bear this severe pain. Nathanos felt someone biting the shoulder strap of his backpack, and he immediately used the power of space and time to form a protective barrier around them.

The pain was relieved a little.

The closer they get to the space-time tunnel, the more various scenes impact their minds: civilization, creatures and even wonderful landscapes. The power of time is undoubtedly revealed at this moment.

A headache hit her, and Alexstrasza murmured softly. Her body slowly regained all consciousness...

She opened her eyes and saw a roof made of gray cloth and brackets - a tent?

The softness behind her head and under her body confirmed her suspicion. She leaned on the pillow and mattress. So she had a good night's sleep, so were those scenes just a dream?

Alexstrasza raised her body with both hands until she could see the situation outside the tent. Looking around, she saw towering green trees, and the plain was full of the breath of life. The floating clouds were reflected in the river, and several trees could be vaguely seen on the cliff.

A lush tree. The life here was both familiar and strange. She knew that she was no longer in Azeroth.

The beautiful scenery was so peaceful and peaceful that the Life-Binder couldn't wait to get out of the tent. The cool wind made her tighten her clothes. While admiring the beautiful scenery, she also discovered the traps on the grass around the tent. These

The trap is hidden under the grass and cannot be noticed by others.

The red dragon with an elf appearance crouched down, touched a dark mark on the ground with his fingers, and then brought it up to the tip of his nose to smell it.

Blood!

"you're awake?"

Hearing the sound, Alexstrasza looked to the left.

Nathanos was holding some picked wood. There was still dirt and grass clippings on the left cuff of his clothes. His other hand was dragging a young deer that he had just hunted. It was probably their dinner.

"What's going on?" she asked, pointing to the blood on the ground.

Nathanos wanted to speak, but no sound came out even when he opened his mouth. He placed the firewood and prey in the open space outside the tent as if nothing had happened.

"Are you injured?" the Red Dragon Queen asked.

"It's nothing serious. Although it hurts a lot, it's not broken anywhere."

Alexstrasza didn't feel that way. She was fine and had a good sleep. She recalled that when she entered the space-time tunnel, the pain all over her body disappeared in an instant. What was going on? There seemed to be a kind of

The magical power helped her offset the pain.

"Are we in the right place?" she asked, staring at a herd of elephants in the distance.

"So far, yes. This place is very similar to Nagrand, but I haven't seen any trace of the Warsong clan yet."

Then they can't guarantee that this is Draenor. Time travel is very dangerous. If they accidentally fall into another world, it will be impossible to go back.

"Nathanos, you stay here, I'll fly up and do some reconnaissance, and I'll be back soon."

"You can't do this. Your dragon form is too conspicuous and can be easily discovered. Moreover, the orcs value their territory very much and do not allow any foreign creatures to set foot on it."

"Then let's first make sure that this world is Draenor." After saying that, Alexstrasza stretched her arms and began to transform.

As she stretched her arms, pain that she had never felt before immediately emerged. The transformation spell that should have been as simple as breathing was now out of control. Her entire body seemed to be out of control and she lost all balance.

A pair of strong arms pulled her, and Nathanos carefully helped her sit on a relatively soft ground.

"Are you okay? What's wrong with you?"

Alexstrasza shook her horned head and frowned, "I...can't change back."

"Maybe it's because you are still very weak and just need to rest for a while..."

"I know my situation very well." Red Dragon interrupted him, "And you are a mortal and I am a dragon. Shouldn't traveling through time and space make you weaker than me?"

In fact, I am much stronger than you.

Nathanos waited patiently for Alexstrasza to recover, while comforting her: "Let's rest for the night and set out to investigate this place tomorrow."

The so-called investigation is to look for traces of orcs, not necessarily orcs, but also ogres, Taboo sheep, clefthoof cattle... and other evidence that can prove that this is Nagrand.

But first, they have to find a place to stay here and survive, and then they can try to understand this land. Only by establishing a firm foothold can they plan for the long term. Fortunately, the hill they fell on is a safe place to rest.
