Chapter 48 - Arrival

…………

The arrival of the elves adds some chance of winning to the battlefield, but it is not over yet.

"Listen." Nathanos shouted, looking up at the sky.

Turayan shook his head. "I can't hear anything except the sound of fighting." He asked instead, "What did you hear?"

"It's reinforcements!" he replied, "reinforcements coming from the air!" Nathanos saw the griffin rushing out of the clouds.

"There's there! I saw them."

"I saw it too! Brother." Kudland Wildhaw said sternly, although he was a little annoyed that he could not find the battle position before the young griffin knight beside him. "Okay, guys! It's time for Wildhaw. The target is these two guys with their heads, be careful to avoid their magic!" He kicked Scarre with his heel. The griffin screamed around and swooped down to the battlefield. A two-headed ogre looked here and discovered them and launched a fierce attack on them, but Kudland quickly dodged away.

Scarre's wings were drawn in the sky and dived down. Kudran raised the storm hammer and threw the weapon at the guy with all his strength. The sky echoed the thunder and a lightning bolt hit the guy. The ogre's body fell down with a bang.

"Okay!" Kudland shouted loudly, grabbed the return hammer, gently pushed Tuscaré, launching a second low-altitude attack. "Let them see clearly! No matter how big they are, the Storm Hammer will let them lie down!" He raised his hammer and shouted and ascended upwards. Other griffon knights also attacked as he did. Kudland smiled, and glanced downwards and saw the mages he had met in Eagle Nest Mountain, as well as the Alliance Commander. "Support all over the place!" he roared, raising the hammer to swing on his head.

Tulayang raised the hammer to greet him.

"It was Lothar who sent us here!" Kudran shouted, regardless of whether they could hear it at this height, "It seems that we were coming in time." He drove Scarre and swooped down again, flying towards the remaining enemies, some of whom had been knocked down, while humans and elves were taking advantage of this opportunity to attack the panicked orcs from both sides.

At this moment, Nathanos heard something and immediately attracted his attention. Kudland also felt something else flying in the air. The dwarf glanced and, directly south above his head, a black shadow floated down. At first he thought this was a warrior who came to him to report the information on the battlefield, but he immediately felt that the guy was flying not like a griffin, and more black shadows followed one after another from the east, it seemed that they were from Hindland and flying at a higher altitude than them, but what exactly were these?

"Are you finally here?" Nathanos stared at the sky.

Kudland stopped the attack, drove Scarre to slow down and circled, observing the approaching black shadows. Are they flying birds? If so, their flight height would be much higher than most birds, and their outlines looked strange. Could it be a new attack unit? Kudland became alert.

As these black shadows approached, they became larger and larger, so large that they drowned out his vision!

"In the name of Eagle Nest Mountain," Kudland murmured to himself, shocked by their huge size. What exactly are they? With such a huge body and able to fly so high? It is almost several times larger than Scarre, but he is still wondering what these guys are? Now he can more clearly recognize its appearance-long tail and neck, huge wings occasionally flail, and extend to the altitude, with horns on his head. It is flying, and can maintain such a high flying altitude by just flying! Kudland once again estimated its size, and he felt that he was trembling. Only one flying creature would have such a large body. He could not imagine what role this creature would play in the subsequent conflict.

As the last dark clouds dissipated, the sun shone on them, and the creature shone with red light—around the crimson scales, Kudland knew that his judgment was correct.

"Dragon!" Kudland shouted, "It's the red dragon!"

tribe

"Start up!" The Hammer of Destruction shouted, "Everything is done!" He patrolled his warriors. Then he turned around and saw Gul'dan waiting patiently, "What's the matter?" The Hammer of Destruction asked.

"My clan and I are going to stay here for a while," replied Gul'dan, "and it has important value to the tribe for the altar of the Storm."

The Hammer of Destruction frowned. He had always distrustled this short and ugly warlock, but he had to admit that the two-headed ogre created by Gul'dan played a crucial role in the Battle of Quel'thalas, and the Death Knight led by Taron Blood Demon was also transformed and became stronger than before. In the end, he nodded and said to Gul'dan, "Don't delay too long, we need to concentrate all our advantages to quickly capture Lordaeron."

"I won't delay it for too long." Guldan assured him, and said with a smile, "You're right, time is the first." Guldan's words made the Hammer of Destruction feel a little worried, but the Dragon Throat Clan chief Zulushid walked over at this time and reported to him about the Dragon Knight's joining the battle. Guldan took the opportunity to avoid the Hammer of Destruction's keen eyes and slipped away quietly.

"They will soon be defeated." The Dragon-throating Chief promised, "there is nothing to resist the Dragon Knight." He stressed, and grinned, "the flames will sweep through the forest."

Orgrim nodded, but suddenly thought of something. "Where is Zujin? Haven't you come back yet?"

The orcs around looked at each other, saying that they had never seen the chief of the forest troll. This was fine, Orgrim felt that he had plenty of time left to argue. "Can you make sure your dragon knights can wipe out all the humans and elves?"

Zulushid showed a embarrassed look. Although the Dragon Knights are powerful, they are limited after all, and the most important thing is that there are a large number of griffon knights in the sky. He cannot guarantee that he will definitely defeat the alliance. The Hammer of Destruction saw the Dragon-throating Chief's disconfidence, so he said: "Do what you can. Defeating them is secondary, but at least they will suffer heavy losses and make them unable to play a role in this war. Lordaeron has many soldiers stationed. If you can't defeat the alliance within a few days, then give up here and join our rear army. And..." He looked at the location where Gul'dan was just now, and the warlock had disappeared. "Fight Gul'dan."

Zuluhed smiled. "I will let his every move be under your control. If necessary, I will let a red dragon swallow him into his stomach..." he agreed.

The Hammer of Destruction nodded and asked the Dragon-throat Chief to stay for command. He wanted to confirm that his Blackstone warrior was ready to move towards the next target.

Guldan and Gugar stayed in a secret place, Orgrim's army stepped over the burning branches on the ground with heavy steps, and slowly marched like a tide. In this catastrophe, at least one-third of the forest was burned, smoke and dust were everywhere, and some unburned leaves hang on the trees, but because of dehydration, they had become curled. In a while, the main tribe army could retreat from the forest. They continued to move past the foot of the mountain, and the dust rose from their feet and spread out in the mountains. The Hammer of Destruction walked in front of the team, and the weapons behind gently hit his back and thighs with pace, and he did not look around, because now he was confident that nothing could threaten him.

When the last soldier of the large army disappeared from his sight, Gul'dan turned to Gugal. "So, are we all ready?"

Chief Mu Chuck showed a knowing smile on both faces, "Everything is ready." He replied.

Gul'dan nodded with satisfaction, "Very good. Tell your soldiers to set out right away. There is still a long way to go back to the beach from here." He twisted his beard, "The battle over there has left Zulushid with no time to take care of us, and when he found out that we were leaving it was too late."

"What if he sends dragons to follow us?" Even Gugar, who has always been brave, was very afraid of these giants, afraid that they would fall from the sky.

"He wouldn't do that," Guldan said to Gugal confidently, "unless Orgrim's orders."

On the battlefield

Kudland let out a weak call, and a griffin knight was swallowed like a sausage. Now the dragon was flying towards them, and more dragons followed behind it, and those huge crimson figures descended from the sky to the battlefield.

In addition to the fiery red skin, their nostrils and mouths also eject smoke and flames as they breathe, even more dazzling than the sunlight that flashes around it. Nathanos stared at the sight of the smoke and flames gathered together, becoming thicker and thicker. He was too familiar with what this meant.

"Get down now!" Nathanos shouted and rushed towards Sylvanas's location. The female elf was hunting trolls and orcs and did not notice what was about to happen. She only heard an unusual roar, but the battle in front of her made her have no time to care about it. She had just killed an orc, and suddenly someone rushed back and hugged her with both hands, pressed her to the ground, and pressed her with her body. The female elf wanted to struggle, but the human in front of her hugged her with her arms and head, as if she didn't want her to see anything.

The first giant dragon spread its wings and rushed down. It opened its mouth wide and poured out a rolling flame, sweeping across the battlefield like a huge wave. The strong heat instantly evaporated every trace of moisture. Although the trees had just been soaked in the rain, they were burned and turned into ashes in an instant, and thick black smoke emerged. The flames not only did not stop, but even swept away trees from farther places, spreading around, sweeping one tree after another, just like a spell.
