Chapter 55 - The Dark Portal Opens

…………

Shadows and branches covered them, and before finding the right observation point, they had already encountered the third wave of jungle patrols, thanks to the rain last night, the fragrance of the mud could cover up most of the odor and disturb the iron-jawed wolf's sense of smell.

The edges of the Dark Gate pointed them in the direction. When Nathanos walked around the last orcs and came to the hill, he heard Alextassa breathe. The size of the Steel Tribe stunned her. Looking down from where they were, there were the appearance of forests cut down everywhere, replaced by steel and wooden building bunkers. The dense crowd surrounded the Dark Gate.

Compared with their creations, the orcs were really too small. The giant stone gate was enough to allow six or seven adult Gorons to pass through. It was towering like a cloud and was intimidatingly huge. The head of a giant dragon was carved on the top. There was a hooded stone statue on each side of the stone gate, and each stone statue was as tall as two primitive jingshin beasts.

The Iron Tribe has completed the construction of the Dark Gate, which is exactly the same as the one in the Outer Land.

"The orcs are really capable races, but they long for war." Alextsa sighed. Their place was hidden and had a good view, and it was very suitable for observing the situation of the Dark Gate.

"The door of darkness is about to open." Nathanos focused more on the orcs, and they gathered together, and each clan stood side by side. Each clan had its own camp, and the flags of the steel tribe rustled in the wind. "It should not exceed three days."

"How will they keep the Dark Gate running if they want to send so many people to Azeroth?"

"In our world, Gul'dan used fel's energy to open the door to darkness. Garrosh can use the same method."

Alex Tasa looked around and saw no traces of evil power corruption and withering, and there was no warlock among the soldiers of the Iron Tribe. The world is still healthy.

"Gul'dan should still be alive." Nathanos guessed that the Red Dragon Queen was confused and explained, "Just force him and his Shadow Council to obey, and then provide him with energy..."

Following the sight of the wither, Alextsa saw a device emitting heat from the left and right in front of the dark gate, which was like a hot furnace. Intuition told the Red Dragon Queen that there would be extremely cruel scenes next.

A Draenei, who had only his close clothes, was driven to the edge of the hot stove, and the orc standing behind him kicked him down.

A cheer from the orc sounded in the air. It was not surprising that this race had a sacrifice, but it was limited to ordinary beasts, and now it was humans. In order to open the door of darkness, they wanted to use the souls of living people to provide energy. Alextasa shook his head in disbelief, "How could they be so cruel? They obviously did not drink the blood of the demon."

Nathanos held her hand tightly, preventing the Swound-Binding of Life from rushing forward. "Forget what you saw just now. This is a necessary sacrifice. We need to wait patiently and wait for the allies on the other side." Alextsa sighed. She could understand the truth, but she didn't like it.

...

At dawn two days later, thousands of orcs had gathered under the gates of Darkness, with various war machines and Goron in the middle.

They waited, waiting for a man to appear at the top of the steps of the Dark Gate.

Sunlight was cast on a body that looked like it was carved from the rocks. The orc dyed his chin as dark as midnight, and his long black hair was tied to a knot on the top of his head.

Nathanos had only seen the leader of the War Song clan at the Gate of Darkness, but at the end of the Second War. In his impression, Hellscream was not as muscular as he saw now, and Kong Wu was powerful.

"Soldiers of the Iron Tribe!" Gromash spoke, his name perfectly interpreted his last name. The distance between them was so far that Nathanos could hear his almost roaring cry, "This is the moment of fate. On the other side of the portal, a new world is waiting for us. New enemies are waiting for us to defeat. That world is as lush and mature as Drano, waiting for us to possess. We will rule this new world and rule Azeroth."

The shouts were deafening. The crowd began to restless.

Gromash was holding the battle axe in his hand, and Nathanos noticed that what he was holding was no longer a blood roar.

The sound of the horn sounded and the air began to tremble.

A rumbling thunder rolled over. A dark cloud appeared above the door of the darkness, as if it was tearing bruises. The portal showed a bright red-brown color. The strong wind kept storming the jungle.

"Has it started?" Alextasa asked.

"It's Gul'dan!"

Nathanos could have seen the trees and steps on the other side through the gate. Now, there is only a kind of thing left in the rectangular door frame. This halo formed a large vortex. When the vortex stopped rotating, Nathanos saw another view appearing behind it: the white sky and the red earth.

The day came, and the orcs did not stagnate because they saw a strange scene. Their prophet had long told them that the barrenness on the other end of the gate of Darkness was only the tip of the iceberg of Azeroth. The richest land was occupied by their enemies.

Alextsa once said that they had not drunk the blood of the demon, but they were no different from what they looked after drinking the blood. The brown-skinned orcs standing in the front row seemed to be crazy. They roared and rushed up the steps of the Dark Gate. They rushed to this place called Azeroth, and all the orcs rushing forward shouted:

"For the Iron Tribe!"

Gromash was shouting the same slogan, watching his warrior disappear into the curtain inside the gate of darkness.

The smell of war flowed through the gates of darkness into Alextas's nasal cavity. The Red Dragon Queen looked at Nathanos inquiringly and closed her eyes. There was no doubt that the scene in front of her made her very uncomfortable.

"I guess it will take another day or two for Kadega's army to launch a counterattack." Nathanos stood up. When he saw the Red Dragon Queen showing a sad face, he stretched out a hand to her and smiled at her with comfort: "They will not succeed, victory belongs to us. For Azeroth!"

She was infected by the confidence of the withered, and Alex Thassa could not see anything from those eyes, but she was comforted. They would definitely not let Azeroth's history repeat itself.
