Chapter 10 - The Spiritual World

…………

At the border between Shadowmoon Valley and Talador, Nathanos looked at the map. He had memorized the landforms nearby, and he looked at it again because there might be shortcuts he had missed.

The only person accompanying him is Sylvanas, and their respective minions will stay in Shadowmoon Valley to help the draenei fight against the Iron Horde.

The originally planned route for this trip was to go to Auchindoun first, and then head to Nagrand from there. Nathanos almost never thought that they would change paths midway. He stared at the strange-looking guy in front of him.

"My name is Reshad."

It was a long way to Auchindoun, and they had to stop and rest in the forest on the first night. Sylvanas was sleeping, and Nathanos was waiting in front of the tent to meditate, but someone suddenly visited in the middle of the night. At first, the Blighters thought

It was the attacker, but the opponent came out of the shadows, carrying scrolls on his back, like the Lorewalker Zhou Zhuo.

There was nothing wrong with him. Nathanos and Sylvanas exchanged a look, and both of them were off guard.

"Are you lost, arakkoa?"

"Well, of course not. In fact, it's not easy to find you. After all, there are many dangerous creatures in Talador."

"Looking for us?" Nathanos had an inexplicable feeling that everyone knew him. He felt very strange, "Where did you hear about us?"

Reshad twisted his neck, and Nathanos defined this action as that he was going to see Sylvanas. The arakkoa hesitated for a while and said, "To be precise, I'm here to see you. It's me.

The gods told me to do this."

During his time in the Outlands, it gradually emerged that Nathanos had only heard of two gods related to the arakkoa, Setai and Anzu, the latter of which seemed to survive to this day.

"His name is Anzu, and he is the patron saint of our Skettis arakkoa people."

"Even if a god knows me, he and I have never met each other. How could he think of coming to me?"

"Why don't you just let him tell you?"

Having said this, Sylvanas finally understood the purpose of the arakkoa in front of her. He is not a messenger, but an envoy. "So you want us to follow you to see that 'Anzu'."

Ryshad's beak opened, then closed again, looking at the female elf's companions in acquiescence, as if he guessed that the decision was in Nathanos's hands.

"we do not have……"

Before the word 'time' could be uttered, there was suddenly an orb in Reshad's hand. It was like a seal and an emblem. For a moment, Nathanos's eyes were completely attracted, and his consciousness was in the right place.

Being guided. His shoulders sank, as if he had lost his vitality.

"What did you do to him?"

Sylvanas stepped forward and pushed Ryshad away, and the strange orb fell to the ground. Ryshad quickly picked it up.

"Don't get me wrong, he was not harmed, he just entered the spiritual world, you know, the spiritual world."

"Get him back to normal immediately."

"Ansu wants to see him, my friend. This is a matter of great urgency."

…………

The Withered One felt that he was in an illusion. He was still in the same place, in the same forest and in front of the tent, but Sylvanas and Ryshad were gone. Everything around him had lost its color and turned into gray nothingness.

It looks like the visual effect of a person feeling dizzy.

But his senses were still there, and Nathanos' ears heard the sound of flapping wings on his back. He turned around and found a huge fear raven wearing a crown on its head perched on the top of his tent. The big bird was dark purple,

His whole body exuded the familiar scent of Nathanos.

"Who are you?" He actually already knew the other person's name, but just wanted to confirm it.

"Crow God, Ansu."

This message is not conveyed through words, but through consciousness.

"The god that Reshad mentioned, you have been paying attention to me, why?"

Ansu did not answer the question immediately. He stared at the Witherer quietly, which inevitably made the latter wonder what he was looking at.

"You are not him, this is not a conspiracy."

"What's the meaning?"

"There is someone exactly like you who is killing my followers and resurrecting my enemies."

"Where is he?" When thinking of the Sinslayer, Nathanos had a hard time keeping calm, but he also wondered why the Sinslayer was targeting the arakkoa?

"He is in the Arak Peaks, but I can't catch his breath."

The Sinslayer would never target a prey for no reason. Nathanos squinted his eyes, maybe Anzu had some hidden secret.

"Then do you know why he targeted you?"

For a moment, Nathanos thought he was going to be disappointed. Anzu would definitely use the answer to this question as a bargaining chip, asking him to help the arakkoa survive the crisis.

"I have the power of shadow in my body." The Crow God unexpectedly revealed a little information, which immediately made Nathanos open his eyes wide.

"Shadow, Shadow Realm?"

"I can't keep this conversation going for long. If you want to know the truth, come to Terokk's Crow's Nest and find me. Hurry, Nathanos Blightcaller."

When Nathanos opened his legs, he staggered and almost fell. Sylvanas caught him in time.

"Are you OK?"

"I...can't say it's okay." He forced a smile and saw Reshad tied to a tree. "What's going on?"

Reshad lowered his head and said: "Your friends thought I would be bad for you, so..."

"So just let him stay. If anything happens to you, I will make him look good." Sylvanas glared at him and then turned to the Wither. "He said you entered the spiritual world, right?

Really?"

"Yes, I saw his spirit. He told me a lot, including that the person who attacked you is on Arak Peak right now."

"Why is he there? Are we still going to Nagrand now?"

"I'm afraid I have to move back. In any case, my first task is to investigate that person's purpose."

"He is very powerful." Sylvanas murmured in a whisper. Whenever she thought of what happened at Marris Farm, her heart beat fast and she almost suffocated. "And he probably expected that we would

Come."

"Then we have to go. Even if it's a trap, we have to take the risk." As he spoke, Nathanos pulled out his sword and cut off the rope that bound Reshad. "How far is Arak Peak from here?"

"It's a day's journey." The Hidden Scroll Man stretched out a slender claw, "Let's go now and we can reach Terok's Crow's Nest at dusk tomorrow."

Nathanos looked back at Sylvanas, the doubts in his eyes clear.

The female elf shook her head slightly, "Let's set off now, I don't need to rest."
