Chapter 35 - Ore

The night was getting together, and although Nathanos saw it more clearly at night, they decided to stop. The undead were very sure that they were near the Black Dragon's nest, so even if they stopped, they were still uneasy, and even Brox was a little uneasy.

"The black dragon cannot stay in the nest alone, maybe there is his eyeliner around it. We must first figure out the situation."

Brox was a little reluctant, but agreed. The place was very empty, with the cold wind whistling by, and stones fell from time to time on the mountain, and there was almost no other sound.

At this moment, a voice caught their attention, not the sound of the wind. Nathanos listened carefully, and after understanding what the sound came from, his expression became serious. It was the sound of the creature talking, and the sound was a bit funny and harsh. The undead immediately stood up and tried his best to find the specific location of the speaker.

Finally, he saw a trail a few hundred meters north of the north. The sound should have come from the depths of the trail. He was like a scheming hunter, quietly leaving his original position and going to reconnaise. By the way, he also signaled the orcs to stay in place. In this unpredictable place, the sound he heard was probably just the sound made by the wind blowing through the ancient mountains.

Just as he approached the path, the voice suddenly disappeared. The undead stopped and waited with breath. After a while, there were chattering again. Nathanos finally knew what this sound was, which made him more cautious as he moved forward.

The undead listened with his breath. He wanted to know how many people were talking in total. It turned out that there were at most three or four. It was hard for him to say whether this was a good thing.

He heard other sounds again. It was the sound of excavation, and it was caused by shovels.

Nathanos quietly approached the place where these unidentified people were lurking. Obviously, no matter who they were, they would never expect that there would be others here, because they were in the light and he was in the dark.

A small ball of light illuminated the place in front. Nathanos hid at a corner and quietly peeked to the other side - it was a goblin!

Compared to the elves, goblins are short and thin, but have a big head. They don't seem to pose any threat to him except for their sharp teeth and pointed nails. But Nathanos knows that goblins are a greedy race, especially when they appear in groups.

"It's not enough, far from enough!" a goblin muttered, "it's not enough to build armor at all!"

"The ore has been dug out!" Another goblin said sternly. He looked almost exactly the same as the first goblin, but the color of his skin was about to dive a little. He said to the other goblin: "We must find another mine!"

The sound of digging ore was heard from a small tunnel on the mountain closest to the undead. The goblins were mining from the mountain. At this time, Nathanos saw another goblin coming. He held an oil lamp wrapped in a lampshade in one hand, and behind him was a sack almost the size of his body. Although the goblins were not strong, they had a lot of strength.

Unlike other goblins, he seemed to be in a good mood: "Another small mine was found! More iron ore was found!"

The eyes of the other goblins suddenly lit up. "Great!" the first goblin shouted, "Snap the time to do it, this is not a simple project!"

"And there is no reward!" One of the goblins complained with his feet.

"Don't talk to a dragon about reward!"

Brox leaned over without realizing it. He really wanted to rush up at once, but he knew that Nathanos would never allow him to do so. Orcs stared at the goblins. They seemed to be busy for a while.

"Are we going to avoid them?"

"No! Don't let go of any one."

Nathanos made a gesture, and he rushed out when he saw the orc grin!

"There are invaders! Come on! There are invaders!"

The sharp scream immediately made all the goblins turn their heads, and then a scream came. Brox grabbed one of the goblins' feet and twisted them down. Hearing the sound of bone breaking, the orc was very proud.

A goblin screamed and pounced on him, almost knocking him to the ground. The goblin grabbed him tightly and stabbed him in the eye with a knife.

Brox struggled to block the knife, and then another goblin jumped onto his shoulder. He wiped Brox's ear and slid past, and the orc snorted in pain. Brox reached out to his shoulder with one hand, pulled the goblin off and threw it out with force. The goblin who was thrown out screamed. As the sound disappeared, the orc turned to deal with the goblin on his chest, trying to break free from his bondage. The bondage soon disappeared by itself. The goblin fell to the ground with a bow and arrow behind it.

Arrows flew out several times in a row after the grass, and the goblins let out shrill screams. One of the goblins hit a goblin in the distance and fell to the ground with each other; the other goblins fell on the rocks.

Nathanos appeared out of the grass, staring at the fallen goblins to prevent them from pretending to be dead and attacking.

"They are all dead." Brox looked at the dead goblins on the ground: "We have wiped out all goblins."

"Their work ended early and found a shortcut to our goal."

Brox looked at the dead with confusion. Nathanos told him the reason.

"They know best how to get to the Black Dragon's lair," Nathanos explained, reaching out to pick up the goblin's bag, which contained all kinds of metal ores.

"Look at these hard ores, in Stormwind, such ores are used to build subway passages."

"You mean goblins are building similar facilities?"

Nathanos shook his head, "No, they said just now, they are building armor." The undead remembered the way he looked when he first saw the Death Wings, and the dragon was covered in steel.

"The body of Death Wings is not the scales of the Dragon Clan, but steel. I think these ores are used to build armor for him. The goblin just said, don't talk about rewards to a dragon. If there is a dragon in the dragon Clan willing to cooperate with the goblin, then it must be Nesario."

"So we're about to find him."

The undead nodded, and slowly reclaimed the arrows that were shot. The fire exchange just now made him familiar with the weapon that Senarius gave him. "Let's go! Complete this annoying task earlier and prepare to enter the black dragon's nest. I feel...I can hear his breathing."
