Chapter 45 - Belloriel
…………
"Take the reins of it, don't hold its neck, open your eyes, child!"
Venestra, a rogue keeper in Silvermoon City, kept shouting, but the young man Sindorai riding behind a white rogue was so nervous that he didn't listen to anything. Belorel Windrunner, the only son of the Regent Aurelia Windrunner, was screaming, holding the rogue's neck tightly.
This beautiful and elegant creature was constantly beating, making long sounds. Its white fur had already stood up because of fear, and he vowed to throw the young blood elf behind it.
Bellorel hurriedly said, "Oh, relax, good guy, there will be no trouble. I won't hurt you."
Venestra muttered jokingly. "It's you who should relax." She sighed, thinking that the little prince began to learn whether the decision to ride a roboat was correct. He seemed... completely untalented.
Belorel shouldn't actually be here. Now the whole city of Silver Moon City is martial law. He should stay in the royal court to learn language and communicate with people's manners, rather than running here to deal with the mounts. At least until now, Regent Aurelia strictly forbids him from contacting any weapons, and he can't even touch them. The reason is: he is not yet old enough to hold a sword.
Finally, the "epic" battle between members of the Windrunner family and the chocbi was at the decisive moment. Surprisingly, the white chocbi collapsed on the ground and panted, and Bellor's scream also heard.
Aurelia's son felt the smile on his face and said to Venestra: "I defeated a robe."
The female elf laughed. Is this a battle? She couldn't help but applaud. "Uh, your highness, you don't look very good now."
Belloriel looked down at himself, and his heart immediately sank. His body was covered in white feathers, his left cuff was covered in mud and his trouser legs were grass roots. He shrugged and said with a smile: "The price of a battle is nothing." Then, his expression became more serious, "Don't worry, I'm seven years old and no longer a child. I can do what I want..."
A panic-like bird cry and a loud female voice came from behind. Bellorell's face immediately drooped. He slapped the mud on his sleeves and the feathers on his body with a few hard pressure, but with little effect. Then, he turned around to face the man.
"His Highness Belorel, please go back to the Tower of Sun Angry with me immediately."
"His Excellency Sarethina, have you seen me learning how to ride a chocbi?" Bellorel said to his guard seriously.
Sarethana, a skilled female warrior in Silver Moon City, Aurelia asked her to be responsible for Belorel's safety and also acted as a guardian. Belorel didn't know much about her, nor did she know why Aurelia let her follow her, but only knew that her husband died in the war against the deceased and undead.
The female warrior glanced at the rogue bird lying on the ground, frowned unconsciously, and replied with a smile: "It can be seen that you work hard and your learning effect is very good."
Belloriel's face turned red and he immediately felt embarrassed, and Venestra behind him was also secretly sneering.
"But you can't just learn this skill," Sarethana said seriously, and he glanced at the signs of embarrassment on Belorel's body. "You'd better clean it before the Regent sees you."
"Can you tell me what to do when you go back?"
Sarethana sighed helplessly, leaned down, reached out to hold Belorel's arm with one hand, and pulled the boy reluctantly to her. "Look, if you want the rogue to carry you around, you have to learn to hold the reins!" She shook the rope in front of Belorel, and then nodded politely to Venestra.
"It has caused you disturbance, ma'am. Please don't reveal that the little palace has come here." Sarethana said. She touched her forehead with her hand wrapped in red steel armor, and kindly saluted the rogue breeder, and then kicked the rogue. The swift rogue, which was wearing the Kai family like the owner, immediately raised her claws, turned her direction, and ran towards the Tower of Sun Rage.
Sarethana's arm was like a steel pillar, surrounding Belorel's waist. The dissatisfaction churned in the boy's heart, but he tried hard to suppress this unstable emotion, "I'm about to succeed." His irritable mood was expressed in words with dissatisfaction. "I can become a rider soon."
"Please don't reveal your whereabouts in front of the Regent, otherwise you will be criticized by her." Sarethina said, without removing her arm at all. Bellorell could see that she could not escape anyway.
"Have my mother returned to the Tower of Sun Angry?"
"Not yet." Saretha organized a more tactful tone in his mind, "His Royal Regent needs to deal with some...tough government affairs, but I think what she most hopes to see when she comes back is that you are listening to the class carefully."
"Forget it." Bellorell rolled his eyes. He had to learn more and more things, but none of them had a practical effect. "My mother told me that I could do whatever I wanted to do in the future and become the person I wanted to be. Whether I became a ranger, a mage, or even a warrior or a priest, she would fully support me. But she never let me get in touch with things related to these professions."
"You are only seven years old, your highness." Sarethina pointed out, but it filled Belorel's heart with deep frustration.
He thought that when he formally learned to speak Saras, he would definitely be able to start real training, and perhaps a competition with the training dummy in the Traveler Square. On the contrary, he was arranged for more strange learning content. He had to understand the boring history, and also know how to salute, shake hands, and say hello.
Sarethana understood what Belorel longed for. Although she wanted to help him, at the end, she could only sigh and look at the back of Belorel's head with sympathy.
"Your Highness, I have no intention of making you sad, but..."
"Mother must think I'm very bad."
Sarethana's face became a little darker. She knew Belorel's mood and knew that the descendants of the Wind Walker family wanted more recognition.
