Chapter 46 - The Battle of the Storm Fortress

…………

Purple energy penetrated the shadows that enveloped the Void Storm. The magic pipeline kept injecting magic from the twisted void into the Storm Fortress. Prince Kelthas Sun Crawler's blood elves poured towards the Shatas coalition like rain of death. Although Sylvanas ordered the troops to prepare and the elves were suffering heavy casualties, they continued to advance, determined to eradicate these Draenei and the rebels for the prince.

Sylvanas stopped and looked carefully. The men under her were a little restless, and she repeatedly scolded them for staying calm. Now she needs to wait, and Kelthas will not send all the troops at once. So far, Sylvanas has only seen two legions of Fire Wings and Morning Front. Now the female elf ranger is counting on the Shatas coalition to last longer. Only by letting Kelthas know that the people coming to attack him are very powerful can he let more soldiers stay away from him and support the front line.

"Shatas's warriors, hold on." Sylvanas prayed in a low voice. She wanted to turn this sentence into a war cry to inspire the warriors who were resisting the blood elves army. In any case, many people would die today.

An hour later, the Fiery Hands Legion left the Storm Fortress...

Three hours later, the Sun Rage Legion and some blood guards left the prince's side.

There are only a few guards on the fortress platform, and the defense spell has become much weaker. The defenders' reaction is very slow, as if they don't believe that a smaller unit than them dares to invade. Perhaps these elves are waiting for the arrival of reinforcements. If this is true, they will definitely be disappointed. No reinforcements will appear.

Sylvanas looked at the squad behind her. Sarodion and Karya were among them. She was very glad that the two did not quarrel at this time. "For many years, Kelthas has stayed in Dalaran and stayed with a group of self-proclaimed aloof mages. I am very glad that he didn't know how to fight. At this moment, there are not many guards around him. He absolutely cannot defeat our strategy and will. Our warriors have created an opportunity for us to launch an attack." The female elf glanced at every face in the squad, and no one planned to retreat at this moment. "Nevertheless, we must be careful. We have no way to know what is hidden in the storm fortress. Even if only Kelthas is left in the end, even if he has become depraved and arrogant, he is also a powerful mage, which is very dangerous!"

"No matter how dangerous we are, we must stop him!"

Sylvanas looked back at Sarodion who was talking, and she nodded, which was what she was going to say next. Carya's eyes also flashed with the craze and joy brought by the battle. "This will be a battle of glory, ma'am. Although Kelthas has far more troops than us, Shatas is ready to fight until the last soldier."

"No, we will kill Kelthas quickly and decisively." Sylvanas's promise made everyone feel at ease. She didn't want to see Karya's determination become a reality. She needs to take down the Storm Fortress as soon as possible and end the battle outside the fortress, so that she can minimize sacrifices as much as possible. Whether it is Shatas or the blood elves, Sylvanas doesn't want to see them bleed. Moreover, she believes that some elves under the prince's command have not changed their original intentions, and she will recruit them to join the Silver Covenant.

"Let's go! It's time to release your anger!"

Through the gate of the Storm Fortress, Sylvanas saw a long and narrow corridor, and several blood guards were surprised by her sudden appearance. The female ranger easily killed the blood guard with a bow and arrow and the mage who was not as good as casting the spell. Sarodion's dagger stabbed into the neck of a blood elf, and the other blood guard was knocked to the ground by the Draenei Paladin who was walking with him. Sylvanas gritted his teeth and reminded himself: This is a necessary sacrifice.

Through the corridor, a huge courtyard with a wide space was placed in front of everyone. The blood elves patrolling here formed a defensive formation to repel the invaders. Sylvanas was familiar with this plastic surgery and knew the solution. She remembered that it was the result of Salorion Xunchen's life.

Under her command, the team members easily defeated the blood elves' defense line like a sharp blade cutting through flesh. After the solution, the female elves were about to call on the team members to continue moving forward, but Karya suddenly exclaimed: "Let's go down!"

Sylvanas didn't know what was going on, but if they wanted to win, they had to trust each other, and the female elf hurriedly lay on the ground.

A sharp sound swept over, and the female elf heard Sarodion's cry: "Kelthas didn't actually bring his pet with her!"

Kelthus's pet? Sylvanas recalled carefully. She remembered that Aurelia mentioned at a family banquet that Prince Kelthus had a Fire Phoenix pet named: Aurelia.

This is what scared Carya? Sylvanas looked up and immediately took a breath of cold air. In the sky, the creature looked not a living creature, but a kind of energy concretization. Its flying footprints left a gorgeous orange-red color, thinking of the embers of the sun. How big is it: at least thirty feet long!

Just as Sylvanas was thinking, O waved his wings and rushed down, and his huge wings burned flames and knocked off several team members. Shaking off the flames made it difficult to deal with them.

"The priest treats the wounded. Warriors and Paladins protect the priest. Sarodion, you pay attention to Ao's attack and protect those who can't escape. Others attack it with ranged weapons and frost magic." Sylvanas opened his bow and pulled the strings, shooting arrows on Ao's body.

The mage Laenna and other mages cast spells together, and the magic roared out of the air.

The attack seemed to have worked, trying to rise to the height to avoid magic and bows, but the enclosed space of the Storm Fortress made its flight severely restricted.

The gloss of the flames became brighter and the wings and tail slowly turned into flames. With the last scream, it fell down. The process was like a meteor falling into the sky, and the team members below hurriedly avoided it.

Among the embers, an attractive egg appeared in the flames. Kelthas once threatened that death would never be destined to be with it. Sylvanas proved at this moment that he was wrong! The female elf jumped towards the phoenix egg, and Queldra suddenly unsheathed. She stabbed her body in O who was preparing for Nirvana without any mercy. An energy suddenly surged out, and Sylvanas was knocked to the ground. Karya quickly helped her up and called on the holy light to heal her.

"Are you okay?" the elf shouted, she got some responses, but wanted to hear more.

"We lost five people, ma'am."

Sylvanas clenched his fists and scolded him for being damn, "Kelthas will pay the price for this."

The group continued to move forward.

Sylvanas fired his bow from left to right, waved his sword blade, showing his combat ability. Her enemies fell to the ground one after another.

The blood elves of the astrologers are masters of magic and swords. They are fast and agile and fight bravely for redemption. The Storm Fortress was once a spaceship of the Delaneys, and the members of Aldo fought bravely with the determination to recover lost land from the blood elves. The common concept of faith above life united them. The remaining enemies blocking the way forward were cleared within minutes, and the troops of Kelthas were defeated, and the door to the path to the fallen prince was opened.

Sylvanas no longer remembers when the last time she met Kelthas.

The breath of magic invaded Sylvanas's sense of smell. The energy condensed around Kelthus, flickering and jumping. He had long golden hair and waist, wearing a gorgeous robe that symbolized nobility, royal power and eternity. The golden Sun Chaser's scepter was held in the palm of his hand, and three green magic beads kept flying above his head. Kelthus was still so handsome, very much like a legendary character. Sylvanas was very puzzled, how could such a person follow the demon?

"It's time for your plot to end, Kelthas Sun Chaser." The female ranger shouted out his last name fiercely, and every high elf would thank Das Rema, the pioneer of Quelthalas. But his descendants became despised beings.

Kelthas looked at Sylvanas with his green eyes. As he spoke, the low voice echoed because of magic. "Sylvanas Windrunner? Are you sent by Aurelia? Is she ready to be the king of Quelthalas?"

"I come here without any orders or power, a traitor. Any sensible Dasrema people who want to eat you alive!"

Kelthas laughed loudly. "Magic, energy, my people are trapped in it and cannot extricate themselves. This has been the case since the well of the Sun was destroyed... Welcome to the future. What a pity, you can't stop anything, no one can stop me! ma ashal'anore!" His words fell into madness, which made Sylvanas feel heartbroken.

"The person who stops you stays in front of you!" The female ranger took a step forward and raised Queldra in her hand high. "The warriors of Shatas, attack!"

"You bet on your life, but you lost!"

Kelthas's words revealed incredible confidence, as if no one could challenge his power. Sarodion first launched an attack. The double blades cut through the air from behind and swung the prince's neck. The prince's simple magic explosion technique made him fly out.

Raenna and the other mages' spells were smashed at him in turn, and Sylvanas's bows and arrows were also mixed in. Kelthus used his best fire magic to confront such attacks head-on. When the energy collided, the impact force made people unstable.

Sylvanas jumped forward to Kelthas. The prince quickly chanted the spell, causing the ground under the female elf's feet to split into pieces and spew out a pillar of flames. But the other party was no longer in place.

Sylvanas stepped back with difficulty, sweat gathered on her brows, and her breathing became heavier and heavier, which was a warning to use up the energy quickly.

"You can't hide for long."

Sarodion retreated to Sylvanas and cursed, "Is this guy's magic endless?"

Endless magic? A trace of ideas flashed through Sylvanas's mind. Even if she was not a mage, she knew that the magic that a person could control was limited, and his body shape, will, and other conditions would limit the magic capacity.

Indeed, why hasn't Kelthas' magic power been exhausted?

Sylvanas focused her eyes on the purple crystal pillars standing on both sides of Kelthus. At first she didn't pay much attention, thinking that it was just a decoration of the Draenei, or Kelthus's preference.

Now it seems that it is not...

"Attack those two magic pillars and destroy them!"

"No!!!" After hearing Sylvanas's voice, Kelthas's face changed suddenly. He immediately attacked those who dared to approach his source of power, used magic barriers to block the magicians' spells, used fireballs to repel the warriors forward, and used gravity imbalance to make the annoying stalker unable to control his body. He tried his best, but it was still difficult to deal with the beginning and end.

"Enough!" Kelthas opened his arms and added the chanting of spells. The huge magical energy fell from the sky and used his last ace. "I can't be defeated just now! No one can stop my carefully prepared plan! Now, feel my true power!"

Magic led him into the air. The crystal pillars on both sides roared. The dome above the entire hall was lifted by the bursting magic. The stars twisted in the void appeared in everyone's sight. Kelthas was surrounded by magic and greedily absorbed these energy. His body began to become huge. The Sun King's scepter was discarded at will.

Soon, the commotion stopped.

Several lightnings and thunders woke Sylvanas up. She could not imagine all this. When Kelthus landed, she was more than five times her height. This was not a fantasy, but a real change. The prince stepped on the ground, and cracks immediately appeared on the ground.

Kelthas laughed and was ecstatic about his change.

"What should we do?" Sarodion Kalya asked in a trembling voice.

"Fight!" Sylvanas's tone was still firm. She knew that many members had already died, but there was still people alive, which also meant that there was hope. Kelthas did become even more terrifying, and his power was difficult to estimate, but it did not mean that he was invincible.

The female elf threw away the bow in her hand, pulled out Queldra, and rushed to Kelthas's feet. A giant fireball flew over, and Sylvanas barely avoided. The female ranger shuttled back and forth between the prince's tall body, and the sword blade swung continuously, leaving many blood marks on Kelthas's legs. Kelthas roared, and the fireball in his hand fell down again. Sylvanas rolled away from the prince, and then she grabbed the prince's red robe, sprinted up along her back, and stabbed the sword blade deep into the prince's back. Blood splashed all over!

Kelthas let out a shrill scream. He gritted his teeth and was furious. He pulled his robe and threw Sylvanas and her sword out, "The game is over!"

The female elf flew in mid-air and suddenly felt a suction force that made her body suddenly smash towards the ground.

"As far as a mortal is concerned, you are very powerful," said Kelthas.

Sylvanas smiled bitterly. Has he regarded himself as a god?

"I am indeed a mortal!" she said, looking up at Kelthas with difficulty. "But I am not alone."

"Ranna!" Sylvanas shouted almost hoarsely.

A blue light lit up directly above Kelthus. The chanting ended, but the sound did not come from Kelthus. What made the sound was the mage who had a very low presence in the entire battle. In Kelthus's eyes, the one who threatened him the least was the mage, which was also something he ignored. Rainna spent a lot of time preparing for this magic, the air became cold, and the blue light gradually formed a halo, surrounding Kelthus. His hands and feet began to freeze, and at the same time he could not release the flame magic to get out of the predicament, which would burn himself.

He can't move anymore!

"So that's it," Kelthas said in a sarcastic voice, "this is pretty awesome."

"it's over!"

When he came to his senses, Sylvanas roared angrily, holding sword in both hands and jumped towards the betrayed prince. Queldera's guardian sword pierced Keltas's chest and pierced his heart. Blood spurted out. No matter how dazzling the red robe on his body was, it looked eclipsed at this moment.

The Blood Elf Prince felt that his breathing was getting more and more difficult. No matter how powerful the magic energy he had, he could not stop his life from passing. After so many years, everything he had worked hard to do turned into a bubble with this sword...
