Chapter 50 - New Goals

…………

A month later, Belmont walked out from behind the portal. It was easy to open the portal of the two worlds, but it was not easy to maintain. The mages in the Mage Zone had been successful for a year to make the portal stable.

"Our spies in Silver Moon City have lost contact, Master." Belmont was a little surprised when he walked out of the portal, but this also showed that the master did not want to waste time. Belmont knew that the reason he was summoned to the Outland was to escort an important prisoner. He would not stay here for too long, but he still had time to report Azeroth's recent situation to Nathanos.

"Lost contact?" Nathanos tried to understand the news. "Has the spy been discovered? Or did Sereduen betray us?"

"No, master." Belmont shook his head, "To understand the situation, I urgently asked Lilian Vos to go to the Elf Kingdom. Her report said that Silver Moon City had martial law and the whole city was blocked. The reason seemed to be... a rebellion occurred within them."

"Ha!" Nathanos laughed, and he waved his hand to let Belmont follow him, saying as he walked, "A few days ago, I received news from the Void Storm. After Kelthas fell, I ordered people to find his body, thinking of resurrecting him and serving me, but the people I sent out had nothing. They said... the Blood Elf Prince disappeared, and compared with the information from Shatas, I came to the conclusion that he was still alive."

"You mean that everything that happened in Silver Moon City is related to Kelthas?"

The Withered One witnessed two terrifying guards saluting the leader who passed through them. When he walked a distance, he and Belmont were left, he spoke: "There is another thing that can prove my guess, that is, the blood elves of the Void Storm, except those who surrendered or died in battle, the rest of the remaining troops evacuated from the outer realm in an orderly manner, and they did not surrender to Illidan Storm."

"They may also be just to return to their hometown." Belmont knew that questioning the leader's judgment was unwise, but he couldn't help but express his point.

This did not arouse Nathanos' refutation, because their journey was about to end. "Maybe, or maybe not..." They finally stopped in a cell, and torches lit up inside, so that people outside the cell could always observe the situation inside.

"She is the one you are going to take away on this trip."

As he finished speaking, Belmont's eyes looked into the iron railing. "Is she Onyxia? The missing black dragon?"

Nathanos nodded, the Black Dragon Princess in the prison was pale and was resting with her eyes closed. One hand had never left the wound that could not heal. "What's the prison built in Maraton?"

"It's done. As you told, we have set up a forbidden demon barrier around the prison, and there is no place to display any magic."

"Very good." Nathanos nodded with satisfaction. He was about to order Belmont to take the person away, but was interrupted by the commotion. The air in front of them swayed with a shimmering light, emitting a light of lilac, which was a typical arcane magic. After a while, a light blue light illuminated the entire tunnel, and Merriel Evil Wind appeared in front of everyone. The mage finally changed his appearance.

"Welcome back, Merriel," Nathanos said loudly. "I have to say that your appearance...has a little surprised me."

A smile flashed across the mage's face. "Thank you, I don't want this either." He replied. "But even a bird can't be seen around Zhanmao Mountain. Although there are no rangers, it will always be unsafe if I fly back in the form of a raven."

"That's true," Nathanos replied sleekly. "So, what news did you bring back to me? Or did Shinestral have any new moves?"

Usually, Nathanos would make people report the news without outsiders. But now, the Black Dragon Princess is right beside her. Although she looks unconscious, it is hard to say whether she can hear the conversation between them. Since that is the case, there is no need to hide it. The Withered One also wants to see what Onyxia would react if she knew about her mother.

"Yes, she does have a new move."

"Is she coming to save her beloved daughter?" Nathanos asked. If this is the case, then he must prepare early.

Merriel shook her head. "No. The fact is the opposite. She did notice that Onyxia was missing, but she did not investigate, but was busy trading void dragon eggs with the dragon-throated orcs. It seemed that she was preparing to escape."

"Of course she will run." Nathanos raised his voice, his ears capturing the breath of the Black Dragon Princess to determine whether she was eavesdropping. "Shatas, the tribe and the Alliance's action against Shadow Moon Valley began a few weeks ago. All forces following Illidan will be hit. Soon, the Dragon-throated Orcs will also face failure."

"What do we have to do during this time?" Merriel asked, then adding: "I don't want to monitor the black dragon anymore."

"Your mission ends here, Merell." Nathanos replied, the mage in front of him relieved a lot. "I've thought about what we're going to do next. Come with me!"

The Withering One brought the other two to a secluded place, "I plan to end the Forgotten One's actions in the Outland." After hearing this, Merriel and Belmont looked at each other, more confused than surprised.

"At present, there is nothing worth our nostalgia for the Outlands. Although I came to the Outlands and wanted to sit down and talk to Illidan Rage, the King of the Outlands has never left his fortress. What a pity." Nathanos shook his head and smiled bitterly, sounding more like he was coughing. "At this moment, everyone's attention is on Shadow Moon Valley, and it would be a pity for the Forgotten One not to seize this opportunity."

"I understand, you plan to start an action in Azeroth," Merriel said calmly and confidently, "Let me guess, is it Phelas? Or Zul Grab?"

"Neither." Nathanos denied that the two places Merriel said were indeed what he wanted, but it was not very useful to the Forgotten at this moment. Phelas has always been a place where the alliance and the tribe competed, and the night elves' eyes were always staring at that place. Zul Grab is located in the center of the Stranglethorn Jungle and has the alliance's eyeliner.

"The territory we are going to seize, in the north of the Eastern Kingdom."

Belmont heard what Nathanos meant and asked, "Master, are you not going to go back to Maraton?"
