Chapter 22 - Remember

…………

Every bone and nerve in Belorel's body was in pain. It was because of this that he was able to free himself from the abyss of his subconscious.

What happened? He was not very clear. Just now (in his sense of the moment), he was about to be discovered by the undead. But somehow, he was suddenly pulled by an inexplicable force behind him, and he took him away at the most dangerous time.

He opened his eyes and looked at the trees. The tall and lush trees almost covered the sky like a huge canopy. The vitality in the forest was very strong, with birds singing, the shadows swaying, the sun was soft, and the white clouds were floating.

With such a peaceful scene, Bellor even began to wonder if he had arrived in heaven. At this time, the disharmonious voice beside him attracted his attention, and he looked to the left.

A short figure was rubbing the back of his head while sitting on the ground not far from Bellorel, yawning. Judging from her figure, she was a dwarf girl with silver hair combed into two buns standing on top of her head. She was wearing a priest costume. Bellorel strangely, since she was a priest, why didn't she help herself relieve the pain on her body?

The dwarf who was with him turned to him. "Are you awake?"

"Are you a member of the alliance?" Belloril asked immediately. He heard from his mother that Quel's Thalas joined the tribe, and in theory he was the enemy of the alliance, while the dwarf was a member of the alliance.

The dwarf girl gave him a blank look, slapped the dust and weeds on her body, and stood up as soon as she jumped, but her height was just enough to look at Bellorel. "If I were an alliance, you would be killed in your sleep, or you would choose to stand by when the undead discovered you."

"You saved me?" The elf boy looked at the other person curiously.

Unexpectedly, the dwarf immediately stretched out one hand, made a gesture of scissors, and emphasized: "And it's twice."

"What?" Belorel wanted to say, but he didn't know what to say. He swallowed his doubts and asked again: "In the Dragon Mile Temple... are you?"

"That's of course, it's a chore, are you hurt?"

Bellorel stretched out his hand, stretched his legs, and said sadly: "It hurts everywhere, but it's fine, it's not bleeding."

"That's good!" added the dwarf. "I'm still worried that you can't continue with the subsequent mission!"

Mission? What mission? Belloril looked at the dwarf strangely. All this seemed not that simple.

"I haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Cromi. You can call me that."

"Cromi?" Belorel looked at the dwarf and nodded and thought that the name was quite suitable for her. "What was the mission you just mentioned? And what was going on? I was obviously in the Dragon Mile Temple, and then suddenly went to the Eastern Plague Land. Now..." He glanced around and realized that he seemed to have come to a new place. "Where is this?"

"Hillsbrad!" Cromy smiled very proudly. "As for what happened, I ask you, do you still remember what happened just now?"

"Of course I remember, you saved my life."

"I mean the undead, do you still remember?"

Bellorel wondered why Cromi asked this. This was just asking him knowingly, and he could not forget. "Remember, it was something that happened just now."

"Oh, no! Sleeping is such a bad habit." The dwarf rubbed his forehead. Bellorill looked at her intently. "You have been in a coma for two days."

Two days?

The elf boy was stunned. He had slept for so long? It was not until now that he understood why there was an impatient feeling in Cromi's eyes when he looked at him. She had been by his side for the past two days.

"It was my boss who rescued you from the Dragon Sleeping Temple, and then he asked me to protect you all the time. When you were discovered by the undead, I took you away again."

"Is there anything wrong with that undead?" Belorel seemed to have grasped the core of the problem. Cromi said a few words without leaving the undead creature crawling out of the ruins, and vaguely intentionally shifted the topic to this point.

"You just need to remember that place is called Maris Farm, and your mother has been there. If it works..." Cromi twisted. Bellorier originally thought she was looking for a suitable word, but the fact was a requirement in a more euphemistic tone. "You can tell others what you see."

Although the elf boy was young, he was not stupid. Cromi's request sounded completely a conspiracy. He began to wonder if there was a secret hidden in the place called Maris Farm. "I don't understand!" Bellorell shook his head.

"Just remember," Cromi reminded, "this is very important."

Bellorier thought. The dwarf kept emphasizing that he would remember what happened just now. Is there anything special about the undead? It is certain that the dwarf deliberately concealed something, but seeing her becoming more and more anxious, it seemed that what she wanted to express could not be clearly stated from her mouth.

"All right."

Belorel nodded. Cromi then breathed a sigh of relief, and told her that she was a traveler with a smile on her face. When she was passing by, she discovered Belorel who was in danger and rescued him.

This crappy explanation aggravated the suspicion in the elf boy's heart. Cromi's clothes were spotless and he didn't look like a traveler.

"Since this is Hillsbrad, Silvermoon City is just north, right?"

The dwarf girl nodded, "Do you want to go back?"

"Of course, after all, I've been out for at least three days."

"With your ability and the turmoil in Hillsbrad, it may be difficult for you to return to the forest of Quelthalas alone. I'll help you..." She said, smiling at Belorel, then recited a spell, and opened a portal in front of the elves. "I can't open the portal of Quelthalas, but there is a passage to the Kingdom of Blood Elf in Dalaran."

Belorel didn't doubt Cromi's statement now, but he noticed that the portal was strange and outsiders could not see the situation inside through the portal.

"Is Dalaran behind this door?" Belloril asked, pointing.

"My spell will not be wrong." Cromi confirmed. Before Belorel could figure it out, she suddenly jumped forward and knocked the elf in. The portal accommodates Belorel and disappeared.

She looked up and let her eyes go away from the boy's disappearance, and glanced at the huge reflection that was staying in the air in dissatisfaction - it was the flashing golden scales and silently vibrating wings.

A pair of eyes were staring at her.
