Chapter 4 - Pearlfin Village
…………
It took Sylvanas a lot of time to repel the monkeys, and the battle was not really over until reinforcements arrived. The Silver Covenant lost some people, but finally completed the mission.
The Admiral was unconscious, and Sylvanas was unable to ask him for the time being, but the other person was still conscious.
"So, what kind of creature are you?"
Even after living in Theramore for twenty years, she didn't like the smell of fish, let alone the tall fishmen. Sylvanas could tell that they were intelligent creatures and even had their own culture, but the way they twisted their heads made her uncomfortable.
The Jinyuman said something strange, and the female elf quickly interrupted him. "Okay, I don't know what you are talking about. At least you are a prisoner, leave quickly."
The Jinyuman seemed to understand what she meant, and then made a call, patted his chest, and pointed his other hand in a certain direction.
"You mean, are you like you nearby?" Sylvanas thought for a moment. Now what she needs most is the help of the locals, and it is best to have a guide or something to provide her with a map.
She called a soldier and asked him to follow the Jinyumen to find his tribe members.
After a while, her people came back. The soldiers sent out were relieved, making the female elf mistakenly think that he was threatened.
“Is the situation not good?”
"No." The soldier shook his head, "It's just that I really don't understand their language."
Sylvanas frowned. She was walking too fast when she left Theramore. She forgot to invite a panda man who joined the league to act as a translator. In Pandaria, panda man should know how to talk to the creatures here.
"So what's the result? Who are they? Do you mind we're outsiders?"
"They claim to be the chrysanthemums. They don't mind our identity and seem to have expected our arrival. They also said that we should bring Admiral Taylor over there and they can provide treatment."
The female elf smiled curiously at the reply. "This is interesting, so I'll go and see it myself. But how did you talk to them?"
"I can't describe this... I might not describe it, maybe you should feel it yourself."
...
Nathanos heard a lot of rumors about some bad news about the Emerald Forest. Blue and red were so fierce that many Panda people in the Emerald Forest were involved.
The Forgotten One seems to be out of it.
It was already evening when we arrived at the Great Wall. Nathanos was very glad that he could arrive at his destination on the same day. The guards of the Great Wall learned about his arrival. They came out to greet a panda man who was in his prime.
"Hello, wither." The panda man and Nathanos greeted each other. "I am Shao, who is responsible for the defense of this area. Thank goodness, you are finally here."
"I'm honored, Master Shao." Nathanos looked up at the great Great Wall. Based on the fires emitted from the city, he could probably guess how many torches he had lit.
"It seems that the defense here has been strengthened."
"You are right." Shao made a gesture of invitation and said while leading the road. "A hundred more monks guards. It's really not peaceful recently, and the mantis demon comes out to make trouble again."
"Actually, I still can't understand why the gods sent me to coach those Panda recruits. I just...once mention that I am good at bowing."
Shao laughed for a while and said, "Nothing strange. I was called here because I was good at boxing."
"How long have you been here?" Nathanos asked. There is no military rank system in the Panda army, so there is no medal on Shao. There is no way to judge when he joined the company.
"About five years."
"That was a long time," Nathanos nodded, and then asked, "Can you give me some advice? I haven't guided the Pandas yet, so I don't know what to do."
"They are all trained? So you don't have to worry about them being lazy? But you only have three days."
Nathanos stopped and looked at the panda man in front of him in shock. "What? Three days?"
Shao nodded. "Three days later, they will follow a group of monks to Wuzao Temple. Our scout report? The mantid seems to want to attack Xuanniu's temple."
Pandaria and Baihuxueqiu are as famous as Tianshen Soap, the god of Soap, is called Xuanniu? His Soap Temple is located in the coastal area of the Mantis Plateau.
"There are god guards around Xuanniu who are not inferior to those of the Shadow Trap Sect. Can't even defeat them? They can't defeat the invading mantid?"
Shao's face became heavy, and he sighed, which was his answer.
"It seems that this time the mantid is different from the past."
"It was not long ago that the fear was sent new news. The mantid has a new queen named Shakeshire. It is obvious that the ruler is eager to shape his prestige. Her army has been concentrated on the periphery of the Temple of Tengzao."
"Will the Shadow Sect intervene?" Nathanos felt that he asked a stupid question. The Shadow Sect is the guardian of the entire Pandaria? They will appear in the most dangerous place at the first time. But Shao's answer was beyond his expectations.
"This? Not sure."
"Didn't the leader of Zhu send reinforcements?"
"That's not, there has been a garrison camp of the Shadow Sect on the Mantis Plateau. But I heard that the fog of Pandaria has dissipated, and the head of Zhu is busy dealing with a bunch of outsiders."
Suddenly, Nathanos began to blame the coachman who brought him. If he didn't rush it, maybe he would have arrived at the Great Wall half a day later.
"So, it seems that the situation on the Mantis Plateau is not optimistic. Master Shao, is it convenient now? Let the panda people who need my guidance gather?"
...
"What's this place called?" Sylvanas could not have imagined that the places where the Jinyumen lived would look like this. Compared to the smell of the monkey village and the peels thrown everywhere, the Jinyumen's habitat seemed to have been hit by a flood.
Even the fishman in the Elvin Forest knew to build the house on dry land.
"Zhuzi Village, General. They said they were just a tribe of Jinyumen."
"It's an appropriate name." The female elf's eyes glimpsed the color of the two gills of the group of brocade fish men, and nodded.
The two Jinyuman guards seemed to have received the order. When they saw Sylvanas and his group coming, they did not come forward to stop them and allowed them to enter.
