Chapter 44 - Naval Battle

…………

When night falls, the battle becomes more and more intense. As enemies of Zandala, they naturally have to deal with their gods. Tatsel notices that the sea breeze has never been so beneficial to them. It must be some Loa who is helping the trolls.

Fortunately, the Forgotten ships have been transformed and the hull has been strengthened by the best technicians. It is more fire-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and has improved its defense and maneuverability. Even in an unfavorable environment, it can shuttle freely on the sea like a predator.

Almost three hours have passed, Tatsel's ship sank one, and although the rest of the ships were damaged, they can still fight, while Zandala's fleet has dispatched nearly half.

Tatsel thought: Fortunately, their weapons are just crossbows. The attacks on the hull by those crossbows are far less than artillery fire.

A group of winged dragon knights attacked the Forgotten from the sky.

"It's coming!" Tatsel ordered: "Kill the beasts with a new crossbow, and let Zandala see how we manipulate this machine."

The Forgotten crew obeyed the order and fired the long-loaded crossbow arrows. The crossbow arrows exploded halfway. The sea breeze was instantly filled with the smell of pepper and mustard. Zandala's winged knight had no time to react and was disrupted by strange tactics. The mounts were affected and sneezed constantly, becoming uncontrollable. The wings flapped in panic, colliding with each other, and suffered heavy casualties.

"Don't stop, beat me hard." Tatsel shouted.

"Sir, they seem to be forming an encirclement against us." A Forsaken crew member repaid hoarsely. There was a new wound on her armor, but no flesh and blood inside. "We couldn't rush out."

The results of the battle in front of him were only temporary, and the number of ships in Zandala was absolutely leading. While sending some ships to entangle with the Forsaken, another part took action quietly to form a force of encirclement and annihilation. This is an extremely smart approach, but...

Tatsel snorted. When Zandala trolls had the advantage, they had to use tactics to defeat the Forgotten Ones, and the fleet commander almost burst into laughter.

"Don't worry, let them form an encirclement. The more they focus on us, the less time they can deal with our large forces." The ship where Tatsel was located was hit on the deck by a crossbow. The hull shook violently. She almost fell down. After standing firm, she said to the crew: "Go and notify the flag bearer and ask him to give orders to other ships, tell them to increase firepower and stop Zandala from compressing our range of action."

The crew nodded, saluted hurriedly and left. He would pass the order to all the flag bearers on the ship. Tatsel glanced at the port of Zandala, and some of the ships were still docked.

It would be great if they were allowed to move too. Tatsel gritted his teeth, hoping that the battlefield would be even more chaotic...

"The Black Feather Sinks!"

Someone shouted. When Tatsel turned around, the Black Feathers were lit up, the smoke was rolling, and the hull had begun to sink. Many people on the boat fell into the sea, hugging the driftwood and empty boxes, and trying to get close to other warships. Tatsel really wanted to slow down and fish them all up. But once the ship stopped, the crossbow arrows of the Zandala Troll would be smashed over, and there would be more casualties.

No, I can't. Tatsel made up his mind with difficulty and begged the Forsaken people on the escape boat to save these people. Before the war ended, there was nothing she could do.

Their sacrifices will be remembered.

"How many shells are left?" she asked.

Someone immediately answered her: "You can also fire two rounds of artillery bombardment."

This sounded not good news, but Tatsel laughed unexpectedly. Just now, when she felt sorry for the forgotten people who fell into the water, she suddenly had an idea and thought of how to create greater chaos and save the forgotten people who fell into the water.

It only took a few minutes to change the command.

The Zandala ships that had already entered the war near the dock were terrified to find out. The Forsaken ships were approaching quickly towards them.

The troll captain on a ship panicked and realized that something was wrong. "Quick, hurry... aim at that ship and stop it."

This order was a bit too late. The Forgotten Storm was the first to hit the troll captain. The troll captain was shaken away by the impact force.

The Forgotten Ones were ready, hundreds of sailors were holding weapons and engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the strong Zandala trolls. When they fought head-on, the Forgotten Ones would not gain any advantage, but because they had already fought each other, the other Zandala ships did not dare to continue firing crossbow arrows to avoid hurting their own people.

This nearly suicide attack achieved beyond expectations. The Forsaken who fell into the water was also boarding the stopped ship and continuing to fight.

The most important thing is that she directed everyone to rush to the dock, and no one would notice what was happening outside the battlefield.

The crazy attack of the undead was something that Zandala trolls had never expected. They tried their best to resist. The horn hands picked up the horn and blew the melody of help.

Tatsel's plan was successful, and now she took action herself, two captain's short swords harvesting the blood of the trolls. "Push quickly and kill every troll you see."

The undead who heard her voice responded quickly to the command.

As soon as she finished speaking, a naked Amani troll suddenly jumped off the head of the fleet commander. While she had no time to react, the troll swept his right arm and Tatsel flew back several meters. A dagger and her captain's captain's cap fell on the deck.

The troll rushed up again at this time. Tatsel would not give him the same chance to attack. He aimed at his abdomen and kicked him hard.

The guy who was twice as tall as him just staggered, then raised the axe in his hand and slashed towards Tatsell. The undead who fell to the ground was about to be blocked, and the troll was knocked away by a shell on his right deck.

The melodious and dull horns and shouts instantly changed the fighting sounds around them.

The fleet that arrived was lined up with more than a dozen warships. Tatsel knew that there were more reinforcements behind him. The Forgotten Reinforcements arrived. Zandala could only hurry to meet the enemy.

"For the Forgotten," Tatsel shouted loudly. "Everyone, jumped into the sea immediately and swam towards the direction of the large army."

She immediately did what she said, and didn't even have time to pick up the hat.
