Chapter 22 - Envy

…………

A little trick of vision? Interesting, I see through it and don’t tell it. On Ruhr, I didn’t feel the magic movement, so it must be some kind of prop that gave him help, and this guy didn’t use it at the beginning, otherwise I would not be able to attack his Void Dragon.

"It's so wonderful." I clapped my hands and froze. Seeing the smug look on Ruhr's face, "Illidan is a good guy. My purpose in coming to the Outland is to collect anything that takes special functions. The curse password is one of them, and now there is one more."

The hint in my words was already very clear. This guy finally revealed his flaw. I saw his left hand reaching out to his waist, as if he was protecting something.

"You didn't attack just now," I said, and also put down the bow in my hand, "because you know that once you attack it means exposure."

"I don't need to worry about these things now!" Ruhr jumped forward in something I didn't expect. I didn't know that what was just saying offended him. In short, he rushed over and jumped at three big steps away from me, trying to grab my throat.

But he didn't know who his opponent was? Ruhr blinked and found that the only thing he held in his hand was air. I disappeared. Just when he was still confused, my hand rushed out from behind his neck and pulled it down. He fell heavily to the ground. In order to prevent him from continuing to resist, I pressed him tightly to the ground with his knees, and his hands firmly grasped his neck.

"You are just like Kelthus." My teeth and my whole body were exerting force, which made my voice sound angry. "He had also met me on the battlefield, but the arrogance of the elf made him, a mage, dared to raise his sword and compete with me. Do you know what the price of him doing this? He almost died. But you don't have such a chance, because you are different from him, and you have no help!"

"So that's how it is." Ruhr suddenly withdrew his anger and turned to a mocking tone, as if I was the one pressed to the ground now. This gave me a bad feeling.

The blood elf smiled. "I once dated a woman named Lannathal. I asked her why she was promoted so quickly under Prince Kelthas. She told me that she recognized the identity of a dead soul, who was fighting with His Highness the Prince, right in Dalaran."

"Where is that woman?" I suddenly understood many things, put aside countless other possibilities, and explained the whole thing clearly with the simplest thinking.

Ruhr laughed, his voice interfering with my judgment, making me irritated and angry, but this was not a wise move for him.

"Speak quickly." I increased my strength, and Ruhr also struggled even harder.

A flash of light pierced into my eyes from him. It was a gem, lying on the mud with some irregular patterns on it, like a leaf.

I glanced at it. The gems were dimly Oak in Lordaeron. The edges and corners of the fragments looked very sharp, with irregular patterns on the surface, which looked like a leaf.

Is this the toy he used to interfere with me?

If so, its value will be almost as valuable as the curse password.

Taking a deep breath, I carefully picked up the gem.

"The prince said you are Aurelia's husband." Ruhr's sarcasm came again. I temporarily blocked his voice, but this sentence ignited the anger in my heart again. "Of course. But you are dead, Aurelia despises you!"

When the blood elf noticed that my face was wrong, he laughed even more unscrupulously.

"Aleria has a son, but her last name is Windrunner, not you, Nathanos Maris."

I slowly took an arrow out of the quiver.

"What does this mean, Nathanos Maris? It means she wants to forget you, she refuses to have a cursed husband. You are such a pathetic bug!"

I slammed the bow and arrow on his back.

The laughter turned into screaming. The arrow with dark magic easily tore the flesh and blood.

The poison began to appear in Ruhr's skin. The spider-web-like black blood vessels spread on Kenotz's skin. He was trying to turn his head and get rid of my weapon, but it didn't work.

As he wished, I pulled out the arrow and stabbed it into his neck even more desperately. The screams began to become heartbreaking, and the blasphemer slapped his hands in despair, trying to push me away. I pressed my face against the eyes of the blood elf, and then pierced the arrow into his throat. The screams turned into faint moans.

From beginning to end, I held the arrow firmly, not caring about whether Ruhr is still alive. I just wanted to let the emotions in my heart that controlled me go a little further. This way of venting is very good, so I stared at Ruhr's astonished face.

"I will let her forget." I whispered. "I don't plan to let her remember!"

I stirred up the bow and arrow in my hand, then moved it to the position where Ruer's back and chest were opposite, and then stabbed it constantly. Blood splattered all over the world. It was not my blood, nor the blood of creatures in this world, but it was swallowed by the soil of this continent.

Finally, I stood up after pulling out the arrow.

"Thank you for telling me."

Ruhr kept twitching on the ground. I looked curiously at the Lannaser he mentioned before. Where is this woman? I regretted not asking the answer to this question. But will Ruhr tell me? I watched his body completely lose its anger as the last tremor ended. A colorful mist like sand slowly emanated from him. The blood elves were deeply poisoned by magic. They never thought about how to get rid of this bondage, but used magic to satisfy their desires.

In the end, even the magic power on his body will despise himself.

When the mist disappeared, the surroundings became quiet again. Ruer's eyes were exposed and his breathing had stopped. I didn't walk away because I was still worried. After a while, I nodded with a muffled groan.

I left the body in place. Even if someone found out, I would think that this blood elf had offended an opponent he shouldn't have offended. Illidan would not be happy. I really wanted to meet this old friend, but my actions had already put me on the opposite side of him.

I was about to leave before I remembered the serious matter. After searching the blood elf's corpse, I finally... I sighed and got the last piece of fragment.

"It's so easy to die." I took a last look at Ruhr's body, without any contempt or pride. I had another more ridiculous emotion.
